My favorite part about the LGBTQ book store is a hidden exchange between Ellie and Dina where they mention not understanding why there are rainbows everywhere. I love the irony of two queer characters born after the apocalypse having zero attachment to present day LGBTQ symbology.
Ehh only thing I didn’t like is all of sudden she’s queer after being with a man & pregnant at that .. comes off as if she likes Ellie because she’s kinda boyish & not her being real lesbian
i like how the people and kids are actually talking and interacting to each other it brings life to the game i also like ellies face expressions because i've actually seen humans make those faces and it looks real that also brings life to the game

Another fun fact: On Ellie’s Seattle day 2, if you go to the restraunt next to the rope puzzle building, you can find the note saying there were 4 deserters Andrew WLF wants them. if Ellie goes to the apartment building and if she enters one of the rooms and tries to upgrade her guns, the 4 will attack her, mistaking her for a Wolf. and Ellie can determinedly kill all of them. It also says their races are Asian,African, Caucasian, and Hispanic which the 4 people who attack Ellie’s races match up with models. So that’s a nice detail.
And when you go through that room, you can't go into the bedroom where they're hiding (it's locked). But after the fight, when you go to walk back out, the door is open (obviously), so you can then go in and get a lot of items, and see their makeshift camp/hideout!
I love how at 0:16 some of the people said Hi to Ellie while other simply ignore or give disgusted looks at her. There was a bunch of people at the butcher probably talking behind Ellie's back because as soon as she approached them, you can hear one of them saying, "There she is. Here she comes." Then kept quiet when Ellie just stood there. The details man

The people in the town give looks at Ellie probably because they're homophobes. Or maybe they're just rude or dont acknowledge people's existence.

You can enjoy 2 games or like 2 consoles at the same time even if those stupid fanboys are fighting against each other over which one being the best.
Visually, yes, it should absolutely win an award for best graphics and visuals. This game is beautiful to look at, you can tell that they poured their hearts out into making this game look and feel as realistic as possible. But as for the narrative and story, that's where it get's messy and controversial.
@Ichigo Sensei Doom Eternal is an excellent game, it's my favorite game of 2020. Even though it didn't get game of the year, which is understandable because of the other amazing games that came out with it, it should have gotten at least an award for best shooter or action game or soundtrack. The action and the pace of that game is outstanding, and the soundtrack just pulls you in, it's incredible.

Tlou2 is such an experience. The gigantic gaps between long ass walks and conversations to combat really shows how far and long the journey was to get revenge. I just wish there was a way to unlock a "combat" mode where you can speed run the game to just go through the action sooner
love all these small details, hate that the devs and programmers were overworked and crunched to hell to make this game great. wish the studio could find a compromise between delivering a good game and treating their employees better. a lot of us wouldnt have minded another release push back if it meant we got a game this good but with less stressed devs.

As someone who played the game before forming my opinion, I still didn't like the story. But God damn I loved the gameplay and all the tiniest of details.

While this game isn't prefect, the first one isn't either, not even by a long shot. The first game is amazing, but everyone passes the glitches and inconsistencies, simply because the game is so loved. But since the sequel isn't as loved, all mistakes are glared upon immediately
