The performance is in Japan. Songwriter is Japanese but the singer is a Chinese singing the song in Chineses. The songwriter wrote the song and let many top singers in Asian (Japanese, Korean and Chinese....) tryied it. Eventually he picked Jane Zhang as the best who convey the music.

This piece can be considered as one of the few best Asian pop music. The song writer and the singer did a great job to convey a deep, romantic but sentimental feeling in an unique Eastern style, which I believe most Easterners can find a harmony within.
i don't understand one word of Chinese; but i can understand every bit of the emotions behind the voice.... she really puts her heart and soul into the song and it all becomes meaningful at once to everyone who is touched by the magic:-)
