@@Chonson yea this is a pretty stripped down release. The umbrella release has more special features than this. I opted for this because I wanted the theatrical cover art. The umbrella release has alternate art.
Same. I preordered the Steelbook, Instead of getting it on release like I normally do, It was delayed until the 23rd, Must have sold out or something from Amazon - Hot seller.
I'm the same way I had no intention on purchasing the holy shit package I just want the blu ray my local second hand store have multiple copies available for all formats
The HDR pops on this thing but since I know you don’t collect 4K I don’t think you’re missing out that much. The resolution is far from great. So if you can grab a standard bluray thats awesome. HDR is 90% of the reason to get the 4K. But like I said in a video I’m uploading now, if you can’t find a stand alone standard bluray just get the 4K for a few bucks more cuz it comes with one.
@modernpeasants7 I have bought a couple 4K's because most include the blu ray and it was the only ones available (og Halloween, the Ring) I'm sure I will upgrade eventually I noticed a lot of 4k will have upgraded audio ie Atmos vs 5.1 for blu ray. Disney does that a lot which makes sense
@@tyleigh4309I made an update to my transfer video comment section. There is a dispute right now over whether or not the U.S 4K I have has HDR. Multiple sources were showing that it has HDR10 including bluray dot com. If it is the case there was no HDR on the transfer I watched last night, I must say that was some damn good SDR. Also, it means they were not upfront with consumers. I did find it odd no photos of the back of the case were shown on retail sites. Thats normally where HDR is mentioned. Anyway, it looked great and if it is SDR then you are set my friend because there really wouldn’t be a reason to get the 4K for this.
Did it come in scratched and skipping? lots of discs have been coming in like that especially 4k's which are exclusively made in mexico
@@Roomf0am9 There were no scratches on my disc and no skipping occured while watching it.
Sucks there's no commentary by Damien Leone, but oh well.

Bro I had trouble getting mine from Amazon no updated so I canceled it and found one a wal mart coming today..
@@TheLifeOfBigBear yea seems the online ordering for this thing isn’t trust worthy.

The 4k is so grainy with noise it’s unwatchable on a good tv. The blu ray actually looks better colours, they messed up the 4k release
