ATTENTION ⚠️‼️: It has just been confirmed as of 12/19/2024. Although many sources show this release has HDR10 it DOES NOT. THIS RELEASE IS ONLY SDR. Umbrella releases however DO HAVE HDR and Dolby Vision.
@@vanderhoff66fu read my pinned comment in this thread. I also made another video updating the fact this is SDR. I filmed this review at the time the bluray dot com specs still said HDR10 and it wasn’t confirmed this was SDR.
@@vanderhoff66fu the standard U.S version in this video does not have HDR10 or dolby vision. Only the HMV and Umbrella releases do. You likely have one of those.
The hdr is horrible, using a lg g3 the hdr10 is so over saturated. It’s not natural colour. They have ruined the 4k release. They put so much grain. The saturation is over done doesn’t look real it looks over saturated. I compared blu ray vs 4k and honestly the blu ray looks better for once. The hdr does pop the colours yes but its to much. The grain is horrible. It’s not a good watch
@@dan9700 The version I have does not have HDR. I thought it did based on specs I saw online. Did you get the umbrella release that actually has dolby vision? All U.S releases are SDR we have learned in the last 48 hours. Also, the fake grain is fine with me, it looks just like it did in theaters when I saw it. Thanks for watching!
@ the issue I have my local Cinema has terrible projectors so was waiting for the release. In the uk it had hdr10 but it’s so bad, yes the colours are bright and red pops but it looks so over saturated and not real, and the gain and noise is so much it doesn’t feel good. I know the look they want but it’s to much the terrifier 2 blu ray isn’t as bad and has so much grain. It’s just a horrible release unfortunately
Worst 4k release ever, so grainy with film noise, it’s actually unwatchable. The trailer is better quality. On my 4k oled lg tv the 4k disc was over blown with colours not real, and the 4k disc doesn’t look any better than the blu ray. The blu ray is better quality

UK release from HMV has HDR
Yep! Seems the U.S got shorted on this one. But to be honest, the SDR looks great.
Someone posted on the bluray forum that the Umbrella release of Terrifier 1 does have HDR plus 2 & 3 having Dolby Vision.
Yep, Umbrellas releases have dolby vision and HDR. The U.S releases are only SDR.
There is no hdr10 on the American release you are wrong it's SDR

@modernpeasants7 when I put a disc in my player it comes up on the TV Dolby Vision hdr10 or SDR
