- A quick breakdown of some of the elements common in the SRT Models and things you can check for to ensure your Minolta is operating properly.
For Recap: make sure the aperture ring has tension, check that the shutter speed bracket in the viewfinder is lined up accordingly and that the slower speeds 1/30 and below are timed properly. Any further questions feel free to comment below or shoot me an email: rompingbroncorepairs@gmail.com
Thanks for watching!
SRT Super: I got a jammed shutter release/jammed advance/stuck self timer. I jammed it by accident, i had not advanced the lever but pushed firming down on a cable released I had screwed in, jammed it right up. Ideas of where to start?
Ive owned a Minolta maxxum 9Xi since 1998 and love how well it works !
Two years ago I found a very nice Minolta maxxum 800si so I bought it !
I’am considering buying a Maxxum 7 ! Can you tell me what you think of the 800si and the 7 ?
Have a Minolta SRT-101 meter stuck in upward position new battery maybe a fix vid from the Minolta Gang ??
Hello, I watched all the videos of this camera, the reason is that I have the same camera and it has a problem when I put the film in the camera, the film take up spool, the film does not pull , knowing that the film advance lever works fine, but it does not pull the film
On other hand string is probably the cheapest replacement part you could get. But is it difficult to mount and get the timings right?
Oh it is. Christ it is so annoying, at least in my experience, especially trying to relink the string to the aperture connection thingy on the mount. So annoying.
@@hmApollo101 Yeah it sucks I'm in the process of relinking the strings and im struggling so much
Also how do you remove the circle button on the front that lets you detach the lense? I’m trying to take apart my 102 so I can learn how it works
He speaks about it in another video: th-cam.com/video/_s9v0fzNXNQ/w-d-xo.html Some people pry off the red circle to get to the screwed underneath but it's really a hassle. I like this approach more, where you use pliers to take out the screw and red dot in one shot. I think this method creates way less damage.
