One of my fondest memories is my mother making delicious beach plum jelly on West Point Island, NJ. We would sail on our sneak box to collect the berries from beach plum shrubs on Barnegat Bay shores.

I live on Long Island where there are beach plums around and I always loved the jelly. Now I want to try to grow them. I really enjoyed this video and learning so much about them. ❤️

Has anyone tried espalier with beach plums?

I haven't heard of this, but they are pretty flexible. We used to do a trellis system but it was cost prohibitive. You could definitely try it!
