You showed a lot of favourites from my collection Mike. Those " Destruction " albums bring home to me why I
love Metal so much!. Yes, I do like " Cracked Brain ".
I see nothing wrong with the " Under The Influence " artwork either, and I did watch that Channel 33 episode as well. " They Live " is one of my favourite John Carpenter films, very funny and original.
    Mosh-Tastic episode Sir!🤘

‘Release From Agony’ was my introduction to ‘Destruction’… & I discovered it coz I saw Chuck Billy… I think it was… wearing a shirt with the cover art on! I’ve always preferred that debut from ‘Demolition Hammer’!

Hey again Mickey, nice video and commentary again thank you. A lot of great albums in that bunch. Honestly I went away from thrash like many have for quite some time and only got back into it in the last few years so there's been a lot of discovery in the last while. Maybe why I don't spend much time with say the first 4 Metallica albums....yes I love them don't necessarily have to give them a regular spin either having heard them so much.....kind of ties into your last question in the video somewhat.....thanks again 🙂

Nice one Mike! Thrash in the 90´s went downhill when bands started to tune down more than a halfstep and boosterd up the drumsound. Maybe that´s just me though, hahaha...
The Blind Illusion album is indeed produced by Hammet, I asked Mark Biederman about it and Andy Galeon confirmed it.
"Tempo of the Damned" is indeed up there with the 80s records. It´s even better than some of those tbh.
Btw, "They Live" is not fictional, it´s a documentary!

I commend you and your memory mate, I have absolutely no recollection about how I felt, what was said and what I exactly did when I try to recall experiencing first listens to a certain record or tape back in the 80s. Only fuzzy memories of what might have happened 😂 awesome haul from Jürgen and some killer OG* bargains. I have sold off some records that I can’t listen to all the way through anymore as it’s just way to overplayed but I have kept the cd copies just in case I feel like listening to a few deep cuts and skipping the overplayed hits. Hope that answers your last question. Back in Black and Appetite for Destruction were the first to go.

I love Destruction, and their first releases put them among the heavyweights of Thrash Metal. They are also a strongly influential band for the second wave of Black Metal. I bought the re-released CD's to restore a little order to the chaos that was those early CD's, just like your Relase of Agony vinyl, they simply rock.
Release of Agony ... I immediately thought of the strange creature from it's artwork when I watched the movie Labyrinth many years later.
Tempo of the Damned is one of my favourite Exodus albums.
Ride the Lightning is amazing, The Call of Ktulu, Creeping Death, and the title track are simply mind-blowing.
Under the Influence is a great classic Overkill album.
If I stop listening to an album that I've heard too much, it's never for a long time. Plus there are plenty more to listen too, it's never boring.
Have a great Sunday Mickey! 😎🤘

I can't think of any albums I'd never listen to again from over listening. How can you even over listen to something, you'd give up before that stage if you'd had enough. Take a break, revisit in a number of years if you have to but I guarantee if you loved it then you'll love it now.
