We Do See it in Crash bash. And, There's a level from it in Nitro Fueled. So, There Might be a point it exists.
They did it in Crash 4!! Too bad Oxide didn't play much of a role other than being forced to sit there under N Tropy getting thirsty with his Female Ver. from an alternate universe...all the while serving them...they did our boi dirty.

it's incredible that Crash Team Racing is a playstation 1 game, Nitro Kart is a playstation 2 game and the CNK graphic seems so bad compared to the first lol
CNK was so rushed that I was mad when I found out that they would've given us the Komodo Bros, Ripper Roo, and Spyro (for the console version) but scrapped it.
Wrath of cortex Also looks awful compares to the original trilogy

I was so confused as an 11 year old when I saw Nitrous Oxide as a regular playable character in Nitro Kart. Like, this guy's the final boss of the original game that I really wanted to unlock but there was no way to do so. Just having him there to pick but without his trademark kart was extremely bitter sweet.

Still never understood why he’s there in Twinsanity if he was never really allied with Cortex let alone anyone.
Polar was never allied with him either. The Idea is that everyone there had a vendetta against Crash. Well, Crunch was just confused, and thought that it was a real birthday party...
Polar wanted payback for jumping on him in Crash 2 for extra lives.

I hope in the Crash Bash remaster, Zem and Zam appears alongside Oxide as you have to shoot them down or else the final battle gets harder. At the same time, Oxide now can be shot down and fights back.

how do you unlock the other characters in cnk for example n trance or oxide
I wonder if others have this same issue in if you have the Oxide edition, once you've 100% the game, due to the Hovercraft already being unlocked the Hovercraft Green Paint Scheme will not unlock despite getting 100% in the Adventure mode? ... No? Just me then?

@@Baschemon Hmmm that's both interesting and odd. I completed nitro fueled adventure mode and unlocked it after beating oxide. Maybe an oversight by the devs? Sorry to hear you didn't get the paint though. Try a quick run on nitro fueled adventure and see if it unlocks for you
All I'm waiting on now is the July 3rd update so I can safely complete time trials. Kinda not looking forward to that lol
