Spent many years teaching that exact type of "lateral" movement, using common fingering. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks, Tom.
This is why he's one of the best.
Thank you for everything you do Dr. K CGP!
Thanks, Ewan.
Wonderful lesson, John!
You've noticed how I keep returning to the basics
@@johnknowlescgp A must for learning! They are the building blocks for the future pieces!! We all need those reminders! Cheers, BB
I've been playing for years now and only just realising that the space between A and B is just as important as A and B itself !
Thanks, Julian. It took me while, too.

Good job I love playing dropping the e to d
I think of Drop D as the other normal tuning.
I try to get contact with you via TH-cam...because...I just wanted to thank you for the song ”chicken In the rain” 😀
And the tutorial of the song that you have made with TrueFire to TH-cam!! By watching that I learned that FUNNY song!! It also inspired me to draw some pictures of that poor wet chicken :)
All the best to you!!
I miss also some videos to your own channel!!!
I just feel that you would deserve THOUSANDS and thousands more subscribers!!!

But!!! I warn you...because you are a REAL musician, that the soundquality etc. Is not near to What you have used to :)
But I hope that you still would feel that I did not ruin your composition 😅
All the best!!
Great advice.
...'if it doesn't, put it on eBay'. LOL
I was trying to keep Thom Bresh smiling. He was holding the camera.

Matleena, I just found you playing Chicken In the Rain. Loved it!
@@johnknowlescgp . Thank you su much!
Can’t play a note haven’t even got a guitar, I want to play now please.
While I enjoyed the video, I am unable to actually see the placement of the fingertips; all I see is the back of your fingers.
Thanks for your observation. I'll get better at helping you see everything.
