Gorgeous upload, the music really creates some fantastic atmosphere here.
Thanks, I really appreciate that! I spend a fair bit of time trying to find music to match to the hike. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Great. Enjoying the detailed reports and good to know about the longer days and how tough it is without breakfast. This walk is on my list
Yes 22km days were definitely solid work! I totally understand why they make it 13-16km sections. Glad you enjoyed all my chatter :P
That's what I call a wonderful adventure and great coast hike. Nice one.
Thanks Mario! Appreciate you commenting :)
Well done Ben, my very first solo hike was this track, 7 years ago now. I do love my solo hikes but I now also enjoy hiking with others as well 😁 thank you for the memories, looking forward to watching more of your videos
Thanks Phil - pretty sure you inspired my first hike in Lerderderg Gorge :P
@@bladesepicadventures7165 really, well that's nice of you to say 😀
I did the GOW in February, so it's a lovely walk down memory lane. I'm a newcomer to your channel and am really loving your videos, you've really got a great relaxed way with the camera. I can't wait for you to see the wonderful ocean views in the next segment!
Hi & welcome to the channel :) So pleased you're enjoying the videos!! :D I appreciate the kind words and I hope you enjoy the upcoming videos! Have a great one!
Great walk. I and i suppose others would like to know what you did for the start and finish of the walk??? i.e. where you parked/stayed/set-up before you started the walk and the same when you finished? How did you get back to the start? Did you do a food drop? where and how did you do the food drop?? All these things i think people would like to know as they start doing these type of walks. Cheers mate.
Love the bandanna
Ha ha, you'd be one of the few 🤣🤣
Great job with the walk and the snake
Bit too sure about the bandana either
Thanks ;) Oh what? You agree with Joanne that the bandana doesn't suit. Joanne will be pleased :P
Good onya, yep the versatile bivvy wins every time. Can camp anywhere with that thing matey! Those river crossing are a pain aren't they? Bloody scourge of coastal hiking!
ha ha - this is the first time I've gone this long in the bivy. Not going to lie, I did miss my hamock though :P Oh gee, don't even get me started on the river crossings. In hindsight, I should have just taken by boots and socks off, then just walked across. But I was tired and not thinking straight.
@@bladesepicadventures7165 lol i know about the tired and not thinking straight. I would just walk through them with shoes on, protect against stingrays lol!
Glad you're enjoying them, couple more to come! :)
