Corsair HS80 vs Rog Delta S wireless - wireless headsets with different appeal

- This is a video to compare the Corsair HS80 with the Asus ROG Delta S wireless. These are two quite different headsets which are appealing for different reasons. The ROG Delta S wireless is really loud and has both Bluetooth and 2.4GHZ, while the HS80 has hi-res audio in wired mode and a far superior mic, but no bluetooth.
Watch this comparison, then check out the reviews for more. Stick around to the end to hear a mic test too and let me know what you think!

THANK YOU SIR I'm definitely getting the hs80 now! The mic is a lot better and i went to a local shop and they were on display and the corsairs were a lot more comfortable. Thanks for the comparison!
For me is the HS80 to tiny... got headache and it doesnt fit my ears >.
Thanks for your in-depth and chill review! It convinced me to purchase the HS80's. I'm looking forward to trying them out and will report back soon!
Hope you enjoy
You can bend the mic arm on the HS80. I also own that headset, and have the arm slightly bent in.
Hi, I ordered the Rog Delta S Wireless yesterday, unfortunately there are very few reviews on the internet and you are the only one who has made a video on this headset. Before that I had a Steelseries Arctis 9 but I had to refund it after 1 year of use due to poor quality and plastic that was starting to break.
I just hope that this headset is good in terms of sound (at least the same quality as my old steelseries) and that it is worth its price which is 200 euros. Maybe the HS80 is better but I need 2.4 ghz + bluetooth like the Arctis 9.
I hope not to be disappointed :)
About the microphone comparison, I know that the HS80 is much better but I don't care about it, I have an external microphone.
Hello my friend
Whats your experience with delta s wireless!?
@@applepulse Hello,
I've been using them for 6 months now, the headset is pretty good unlike my old steelseries arctis 9 which already had problems and ended up breaking. As for the sound, I wouldn't say it's incredible for the price you have to pay, but with the software there's really enough to set up well for any situation.
I would also say that it is the most comfortable headset I have worn in my life, even after 10 hours I have no pain.

Thank you so much
I have 2 option
One is arctis 7P+ and another one is rog delta s
I think delta s is better option...
I don't know why but this headset have a few reviews...
Thank you again for your sharing
Great review!
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe! :)
@@TheProvokedPrawn always pleasure watching your videos.
I've been doing a lot of research, and now this is consider the best headset microphones ever in the marketing, 🔍💻👨🔬
I simply love it, the fact that you can have a headset, but with a microphone with it, 😍🎧🎤
Shows that you can just buy two things. Would just only one thing, 💰💳🛍️
Like without having to get a microphone and a headphone, you just get both at the same time 👍👌👥
I thought the HS80 mic test in this video was a bit odd. You said you couldn't get the boom arm closer to your mouth because it would spring back, but my understanding is that you can manually bend the mic boom arm to get it closer to your mouth.
You can not, I own a pair of white ones. One thing you can do is twist both earcups inwards, and that gets the mic closer. It also allows me to wear the headset for several hours. In the flat configuration they are a little too hard on my ears. Rotating them removes the problem.
False I own the black pair of the hs80 you can bend the mic arm
Thank you.
You're welcome!
corsair mic is better than rog delta !!!! btw nice review sir
Yes it is
I really like your reviews, I'm looking for a nice headset for pc and I'm choosing between the corsair hs80 and the creative sxfi air gamer, that last one I'm interested about the dual connectivity. I recently entered in the pc gaming (I come from a ps4) but I like to stay in the party of playstation with my friends, the problem is that today doesn't exist a playstation app for pc that allow you to stay in party so i'm using my phone for that. So the dual connectivity would allow me to use the headset for pc while staying in party with the phone. I know both are really good headsets and their features.
My question is: which one has better audio quality? And in that aspect the difference between these two is big? The dual connectivity would be a nice confort for me but it's not my priority, so if the corsair would have better audio quality I would go with that. What would you recommend for my situation?
You know the HS80 doesn't have Bluetooth right? Only 2.4GHz or wired.
@@TheProvokedPrawn yeah, wired or wireless doesn't change much for me (even if I can't use it with my phone).
@@TheProvokedPrawn my main concern is the audio quality (gaming, music, overall use) between the corsair hs80 rgb and the creative sxfi air gamer, if both are on the same level then i would prefer the creative because of that double connectivity (for confort), what do you think about it?
I own the HS80 and it is awesome.
If you own a laptop, know that iCue drains laptop battery immensely. When I voice chat through Discord, the mic will mute until I open iCue. That can be a deal breaker for some laptop owners.
That's super weird. My wife uses her HS80 on a laptop without iCue and has Team calls all day with no issue. I wonder if it's a Discord quirk.
@@TheProvokedPrawn it probably is a Discord issue of some weird sort. The light goes red as soon as I join a Discord voice chat, but opening iCue afterwards fixes it. Strange that only Discord causes this issue as other programs like OBS and Audacity work fine without iCue.
