In today's episode I will install the very first must-have mod for your c8. These are aluminum pucks that install where your jack-points and lift points go, making it super easy for anyone working on your car to know exactly where to lift the car from. Without these, it is very hard for someone who isn't familiar with C8s to know where to lift it. These are less than $30, took me all of 10 minutes to install, and made jacking up the C8 for the next mod super easy. Highly recommend this mod! Don't risk damage or worse. Great video ! I don't even have my car yet but I will order those pucks now. Oh I would have drove the car onto some 2X6 wood lumber to get the car a little higher off the ground.

Hey Brent, they do indeed fit. There are other "C8" options that are more expensive but they are literally the same thing.

Nice wheels... new to your channel do they have magnesium wheels for the c8?
The C8 Z06 is rumored to offer carbon fiber and mag wheels. Right now you’d have to get aftermarket wheels to get Magnesium.
@@DeeperImageAutomotive yeah I saw that the c8 z06 may offer CF wheels I for one will opt out of that they are too expensive and they will not have any warranty plus I hear they are easily cracked and also can bc oval there are no advantages to have CF for every day driving I know I won't be tracking my Z06 either lol

I really don't understand the point of those pucks. You, as the driver, already know where your jack points are or else you wouldn't be able to install, and are you really taking your c8 to a shop that doesn't know how to locate where to jack up a car?
You must be new to the internet. It happens to a lot of corvettes not jus the C8. Some mechanics, including Dealer mechanics don’t know how where the points are. It’s easy to jack from the wrong place. I love DIY jobs but certain things on a brand new car have to be done at the dealer, unless you know how to service DTC transaxles, any of the 6 ECUs the car has, digital displays and a ton of electronics. This isn’t your daddy’s 72 Chevette. It’s a 10 minute job that saves you and your car from potential damage. Carryon.

Should have stayed with the original wheels, all black wheels are old news - now. Just like every car on the road. A downgrade to your supercar ! However black with a polished surface would add a touch of class.
