I consider myself an okay player and completed this mission with honors in my T95 on Steppes. I took a blind shot on a common bush for TD's because of watching your videos and streams. Because of that blind shot hitting a Grille 15, I got the 6K damage. Thanks, Baboon King!
As a casual ON-OFF player i have to say, that some missions feel organic and can be done while playing normal and some missions, like: do 1st spots on 5-X, can be very toxic for everyone that is in this battle. Some only cares for their own mission and while im understanding this, its often not helpful to win the round.
As an on/off player since 2015 I can confirm that even 6k damage alone isnt that easy. During my frequent returns I managed to grind full field modifications for both Grille 15 and T110E4 without ever breaking 6k. I do have some rare 6k+ TD games under my belt (JP E-100 and Waffentraeger before the mission was live), however I am severely struggling to deal large amounts of damage not only for this mission, which is likely linked to my inherent aversion to shooting gold.
I agree with you, been on this mission for years because I never play same tank more than once a day (200+ x5 missions i want to keep). It's not as easy as it might seem as it requires a good amount of RNG. I'm also quite a bit against shooting gold which doesn't help.
I completed this mission last week: 8.6k dmg (TD15 for 260 territory) with T95 at Berlin. Fun fact, I had that map excluded for over 8 months but days before I excluded Paris instead 🤷😎. 8.6k dmg, 8 kills at tier 8&9s: honestly, enemy team was bad, I had like 3 HT in front all game long (luckily, had support on HT line). 1 to go to complete all of them w/Honors.
I did this mission with 7k damage with wt on pz 4 and I also got the 5 kills and a win…but the most random thing is that I did the mission on the chines wall map 😂 most shitty map for the mission
I wish that it was possible to select/change your missions in the 30 seconds before a battle starts like you can with field mods and personal reserves. There are so many times with ones like "kill # of (type) tanks," and then it's not even possible.
Hey skill love the content. I'd love to see more of these mission videos where you provide a guide how to complete certain missions. That said, any of the Obj 260 missions would be nice to showcase.
I completed all the missions and got the obj 260 and obj 279e but regardless I have to thank you for what you are doing to help the community. Great job man, keep it up.
I struggled with the 279(e) mission the most,2 topgun in 12 battles for almost 3 months...that was a nightmare. Until 2 days when I picked 114SP2 and played both day 1-1 battle with 6 kills. Skill u are absolutely right,if u have joy with the tank u playing,or u just want to play that tank cause why not, you not even spot that your mission is completed :D
i did the t55a td15 in a grand battle match (yes, grand battle counts for missions!) which made it a lot easier, as there are far more targets to shoot and a much bigger healthpool to draw from. we lost the game quite quick, but i still managed to get 7 hesh pens in my fv4005, which was enough to net 6.7k dmg or so. nowadays i would probably shoot ap though, since it's a far more reliable way to deal damage. this mission always felt very doable though, which is something i cannot say about the obj260 mt15 mission. i never felt the opportunity to actually do this mission, as i feel this mission suffers a lot under the changes equipment 2.0 brought to the game. for example, it's gotten a lot harder to get around e3, 2684 or jagd e100 players to permatrack them, since they all have higher track durability and repair a lot faster than i would be able to deal damage - even if i take a fast firing high dpm machine like the obj140. this mission just feels undoable.
I been on this mission for 3 months, I've grinded bobject, grill, shit barn and I've used death star as well! I've come close to complete the mission many times and at this point I'm tempted to give up on it and start missions for 260 idk tho
I have been on it for over a year. I do not play arty so I have to finish everything with honor. I am a light and fast medium player and am not very good in TDs. Until I get over being bored in TDs I will never finish this. I am the type of player who enjoys being in the thick of battle at all times.
@@jonguyton1 im the same way what worked for me was using the grille as a glass cannon and being with the heavies. Thats how I managed to complete most of the high damage ones like TD 15 for the obj. 260 did 9,5k in the grille playing it that way

I got lucky and completed this mission in the T104E with 8k and 8 kills pushing W in a grand battle. Didn’t even realize you could complete the missions in Grand Battles. Game play is definitely less campy and try hard in those and the hp pool available is much larger. My challenge now is HT 15 which seems nearly impossible for someone with my skill level in heavy tanks. I used orders for SPG15 and may use my remaining orders for HT15 bc getting the T55 is more important to me than the 260 - a tank I’d probably never play
I changed strategy to get 260 and now I'm trying to get t55a spg-15 with honors to liberate orders so I can avoid the 8000 TD15 and the 3500damage over tds (harder than you can expect)
i need to do this mission for honours and then i have enough orders to unlock the obj260. i’ve been stuck on it for SO LONG, and gotten close SO MANY TIMES but doing the damage and also five kills is so tough!!
Tried different tier X’s and tier IX’s to get this mission done. Struggled to get even the 6k damage. Stopped thinking about it, and ended up completed the mission in the TS-5. Was probably trying too hard to get the mission done. Missed out with the ‘with honours’ part as I failed against the final E75. Was my fault, due to a rush of blood to the brain, and totally messed up. Was happy completing the main part of the mission though.
I have stopped at last missions for HT, LT and SPG for T-55A... For over 2 years I can't beat them. However I have noticed doing those missions was easier when there were not so many weird OP tanks. Now it is really difficult.
Speaking of wrong mission selected. Completed LT-15 for 260 whole grinding the t54ltwt. Unfortunately I was on the mission to spot 4500 when I spotted over 8k on Westfield.
the craziest thing is: after the SU completed mission he can use that same mission again and always have the information when he'll be spotted before the sixth sense goes off
Been on this mission basically since it came out. My biggest problem is that I never play a tank for more than one win a day because of the x5 missions I have saved up. Wouldn't surprise me if I would have completed this mission and have a few % higher win rate if I grinded the same tanks over and over like people do for marking.
I completed Td15 for t55a in udes03 tier 8 swedish td, in a t10 game. Got 7 kills, 7k dmg. Ghost town map, hiding in bush on east side in the middle(where usually enemy LTs are). half the enemy was camping in front of me.
I did this mission in my wt on Pz 4 had plenty of 6k matches and did the mission, the harder thing is to get 5 kills…that’s where stars have to be on all right places so you can finish the mission on excellent. And I did in on Chinese wall map so everything is possible 😂

Any advise for the 260 td mission that requires 5k damage and 3 destroyed internal modules/dead crew members? I'm getting the damage needed more often than I used to, but don't get any modules or crew despite having huge cannons all with deadeye skills.
I completed it with STRV Tier10. Would have completed it with the Skorp G when I had the mission active at the time. TD missions are really easy for me, sadly all the other missions are my bane :(

If I would play the game, like I like, I wouldnt play Mediums, TDs, Arties at first place. But then, I cant finish missions ;-p. To do missions, I allways switch tanks. If it is an hit mission, I play T6, if it is a DMG mission I go for T8. I think for this mission, I will use that mission skip, since I will stop playing missions after I receive T55a.

I never even came close to this number despite getting 6 k long long ago many times but now you cant do it its just a waste of time just like Heavy Tank 15 and yes it was often the lack of kills that did me in
I'm on this mission right now. I've been trying with my Foch 155. I either don't get enough kills or not enough damage 😓. I might try to use Borsig or Wafflecock if I continue to fail
Do it in the wt on pz 4..it’s an absolute cheatcode i had many matches with 6k damage the harder thing was to make 6k damage and 5 kills. But this tank is the easiest way in my opinion you also have a great dpm
These missions are frustrating and take persistence. Never expect to finsih these in a day or two. You will need weeks or months since RNG and crappy teams happen.
"This gentleman doesn't have best PC (...) his fps are dropping to 70" - meanwhile I'm playing with 40. :D And it is not stuttering like that - there is something else going on - either he had mini lags due to bad connection or his PC was unable to render game smoothly and steadily (may be also due to some background process, like some antiviruses can cause stuttering).
If you just want to get the 260, the best thing to do is to complete ALL the other missions for the other 3 tanks with honors to get the orders. Should get 15 orders from doing that. Then for 260 you use the orders to complete mission 15 for 4/5 of the parts. Then you only have to complete 15 missions for the last part, probably easiest to do it with the lights or mediums

Maybe, if we schmoes had a CC account, where we had unlimited Crew Skills, we could see "5,000 damage". The reality for us "normal" players is, that the fucking RNG is so unpredictable (even with the new reticle mod), that we only hit 1 shot out of 3 or, 4. Then we are spotted and blown away. In addition, the silly-assed matchmaking seems to be built to promote 1-sided battles that last 4 or, 5 minutes, so Wargaming can get paid for consumables and directives. After 4 years, I thought the game would improve but, it just seems to be getting more unrealistic with each "update". I wish my "dad" worked for Wargaming (LOL)! (AntonioAndolini / NA server) 😂😂😢😢
Im on 260 missions for over 3 years i believe and of that 1+ year of intensive tries to get it done. I cannot do final mission for TD, Medium or Heavy after hundreds of battles. And these are easier missions than 279e. I have 54% winrate without re-roll. I strongly believe that anyone with winrate lower than that and having 279e was cheating to get it.
I strongly disagree with the last sentence. I have a ~52.5% wr overall now and 25k games and the missions at least to me seem very easy (~60% wr recent). When I got the 260 and 279 I had like 48% wr and didn't feel like the missions were that hard. I completed the 260 set in under 3 months and the 279 in like 2 (using the new 260 for the missions) I would say its just a skill issue you have.

I did my TD15 mission with Grille15 on Fisherman's Bay map. Tier 9-10 match. Misisons are more like pray for good RNG and keep it cool and patient.
And then also be in the correct position if they push.

Not focusing on the missions is my way to do the campain missions. I compleat missions by accident. I think i did this one with tier 8 udes.

Seem like a small caliber with high rof is better to knock modules/crew down than big one
Try to make the damage and then shoot with HE also would recommend a tank with high dpm like wt or something

I have more problems with the Mission 8 for TDs, where you have to deal 4 times the damage of your HP.
Use SU100 or another tier 6 td.

r u kidding me,.... i was stucked in this mission about months but after i watched this video i take my 268/4 and did it with 6.200dmg and 8kills on Berlin map :D crazy crazy crazy, wtf. :D
So we you needed 50 games for this missions I can estimated about 500 till I get this done.
I will never complete these mission. I not that good of a player. There no way I will ever get come close too 6k!

They should make campaign easier. The reward tanks are laughably outdated by today’s meta.
If they did make it easier the boosting companies that are in bed with wg would go out of business

Maybe, if we schmoes had a CC account, where we had unlimited Crew Skills, we could see "5,000 damage". The reality for us "normal" players is, that the fucking RNG is so unpredictable (even with the new reticle mod), that we only hit 1 shot out of 3 or, 4. Then we are spotted and blown away. In addition, the silly-assed matchmaking seems to be built to promote 1-sided battles that last 4 or, 5 minutes, so Wargaming can get paid for consumables and directives. After 4 years, I thought the game would improve but, it just seems to be getting more unrealistic with each "update". I wish my "dad" worked for Wargaming (LOL)! (AntonioAndolini / NA server) 😂😂😢😢
Im on 260 missions for over 3 years i believe and of that 1+ year of intensive tries to get it done. I cannot do final mission for TD, Medium or Heavy after hundreds of battles. And these are easier missions than 279e. I have 54% winrate without re-roll. I strongly believe that anyone with winrate lower than that and having 279e was cheating to get it.
I strongly disagree with the last sentence.
I have a ~52.5% wr overall now and 25k games and the missions at least to me seem very easy (~60% wr recent).
When I got the 260 and 279 I had like 48% wr and didn't feel like the missions were that hard.
I completed the 260 set in under 3 months and the 279 in like 2 (using the new 260 for the missions)
I would say its just a skill issue you have.

The biggest part of the 260 missions is luck.
