She was born in 1945....she was 15 then this was a hit. So....at 69 years old she can still sing the song beautifully and she's absolutely lovely. Wow

Actually, I think she sounds better, much better, than when she was 15. She is much more sophisticated, her voice is sweeter, more mellow and expressive. She sounds not like a kid but like a woman, though certainly NOT like the 69 year-old woman she is in this video. Such a great lady. Ageless. This is almost as good as the version she did at a doo-wop concert in Pittsburgh fourteen years earlier, which in my opinion is the definitive version on TH-cam. She still nails it. Awesome!
