Was great to hangout for breakfast buddy... although a tad over flavored.. lol! Also seems you are enjoying filming with your phone with short burst of scenes.. love them!
I haven't been to indonesia (including Jakarta) for quite some time. My ex wife is from jakarta. I used to love waking up and going down to a small warung and grabbing some chicken porridge and a tapioca cracker. Not sure if you have been to Bogor and the botanical gardens. A short train or bus ride from Jakarta. Its so nice there. Puncak is nice too where the tea plantations are up in the mountains. Nice and cool there. I took a cab from Jakarta to puncak, I don't remember how much it was. The train to Bogor was super cheap. I have many stories and adventures in Indonesia. Sadly, I don't see me ever going back.
Bricks & Bread looks really nice. You might also want to check out a little hidden pocket park right in the centre of downtown KL located in a nice and rustic cafe called HSS (High Street Studios) in Jalan Tun H S Lee. It used to be a lodge before the owner did the conversion and is less than a 5-mins walk from the Masjid Jamek LRT station.
That's is a full English breakfast. For your noodle you could just tell them no intestines, or no innards. Just pork slices and minced pork. You didn't mentioned where you left your bicycle? Cc
Welcome back to Malaysia, awaiting for your story

I thought Canadians loved the cold ; yet here you're complaining. Maybe Douglas has been tropicalized finally after living in the area long enough.

Why Don't you take boat from tg. balai to port Klang . It near to KL.
He went to Port Klang maybe a year ago to check. It's no longer in service. Only the PD route survived after the pandemic.
why its more convenient to detour to kl instead of straight sumatra to jakarta?
it's just faster, since he is meeting someone with limited time in jakarta, then went back to sumatra again.
New glasses and hair cut?
