My former Catholic Church never encouraged me to read the bible. I doubt it that catholic priests read the bible. Today l have discovered the bible anew thanks to pastors like these and they are very few. No day passes without my watching at least one youtube clip from this good man. Thank you Sir!

I have NEVER heard this explained better. Being a person who shares beliefs of “Holiness” and Baptist, it is often difficult to find teaching that bridges the gap and knocks down the walls of “denominations’.” Thank you

I love your teachings! I was kept out of church and taught the gospel by my mom in secret but I managed to sneak away and get saved by going with a friend. I chose to be saved by the age of ten. I noticed that I knew things from the Bible that I had never heard as well as I knew I wanted to help heal others at an early age and I started working in the hospital at age 17. I joined the Navy with the job of an intelligence specialist but I couldn't make the date so I joined as a nurse and did the mecep program. I think God made sure I was going to help others. Since my mom passed in 2014 and she warned me about everything that was going to happen regarding my father and she told me everything that has happened correctly. Since then I have been able to tell people that I am close to the outcome of their life if they keep going the way they are going. I also am thankful that God put my ex husband in my life to help him but also to teach me how to love unconditionally and not be selfish. I have finally been turned back to God and my purpose. I was injured in Iraq, lost my mom and my first husband because I had to move home for my mom. I felt useless but God did not give up on me and now I am a single Mom and disabled veteran but I have never been happier than I am now that I am finally focusing on God and learning about everything about God.💯🙏🔥

When you are born again it is God's desire that you learn His ways. And if you are hungry to learn, the Holy Spirit is
waiting right there to teach you. You are in the first grade. Each particular subject you learn makes you more mature in that subject than someone who is ignorant of it. Operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit is a giant step in your growth as a Christian. Whether or not you've grown as a Christian in other ways, you have a wonderful maturity that is rare in a Christian. Yes, you may have much room to grow in other Christian ways, but there are so few Christians operating in the gifts, that in my humble opinion, you are much more mature than the average Christian. It sounds to me like he's preaching against the gifts more than for them. He is putting a scare in those who would be so bold as to operate in one of the gifts. Why teach the negative first? Why not teach how wonderful the gifts are. Well, he just made it clear, he's against Pentecostal and Charismatic churches. Yes, there has been much misuse by both those denominations. But condemning them is throwing the baby out with the bath water. It is understandable why Satan attacks these denominations more than any other. They are operating in the power that God meant for us to operate in. Allen believes in the Spiritual gifts, but he only allows those HE picks to openly operate in them. He has vastly overstepped his authority! The gifts are for all Christians, and they are spontaneous. He is not God. He is aiding the enemy by his control of the gifts.

My dad was the pastor of our Pentecostal Church. He operated in most of the gifts including the gift of tongues. As a matter of fact my non believing brother who works on a Cherokee Indian reservation was talking to him one day when it just came out. My brother was blown away because he understood some of what my dad was saying....because it was in the Cherokee language. How’s that for real life experience. I’ve seen things that would make some people think we needed to be committed. Never again found another church like that.😕

I understand that because I heard God tell me to watch out for my ex husband and I did. I stopped him from being robbed, over dosing and I had him clean and doing good until his Mom came back and she had taught him since birth to manipulate for money and to serve her in order to receive her love. I am blessed because he saved me as well because I had always been selfish and I never knew how to love unconditionally. I know it was God because I had a son and daughter but I was sterile. Our marriage was awesome until his Mom came back and he fell back into the way she had taught him since birth. I never turned on him, even after he stole everything from the kids and I and abandoned us. I sent him to a christain rehab by talking to the judge after his mom and girlfriend had him rob businesses but he still failed and is in prison now. I pray God heals and delivers him even now. I will always love him but I learned that what we want is not always good for us. Please say a prayer for Eric 🙏💖

Good stuff for most part, but one point he was wrong on: he made a point to say he never promotes congregation to all lift hands and worship in the Spirit. This tells me he does not understand 1 Corinthians 14:2
For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
That is, if you were in NYC, or LA, in certain areas where multicultural people dwell, and you encouraged everyone to worship God in their own language, there would be English, Spanish, Hebrew, Vietnamese, Chinese, and others probably all praising in their own languages. Such would be wonderful and not at all out of order. FOR THEY EACH ARE SPEAKING UNTO GOD, NOT TO EACH OTHER, NO MATTER HOW AUDIBLE THEY ARE. It may be a bit noisy, but definitely not out of order, since in agreement they all praise God.
Now, if 5 preachers get up, and one preaches in Japanese, the next in Chinese, the next in Spanish, and
so on, different sermons, and no one translates to the other people who don't know the language, this is out of order. Why? Because they are not speaking to God (who understands all languages) but to other people. They MUST have interpreters. There is no difference in the giving of a public tongue. If it is for the public, IT MUST BE INTERPRETED. But if in agreement a whole congregation lifts its voice, individually in corporate praise, TO GOD, no interpretation is required, and such is Not out of order,( contrary to one comment in the TH-cam.)

Pastor, for the record these past three plus years following this ministry have been a great ride and hopefully the next 20 plus will also. Notwithstanding, I disagree that prophesy is strictly limited to 'one on one' occasions. Though certainly true as you stated, but on multiple occasions I've witnessed the Holy Spirit exposing (through the use of prophesy) the secrets of some (thoughts & deeds) openly; not so much to a point of pointing a specific person out (and that to a point of embarrassing an individual publicly) but to a point of bringing them to repentance nonetheless. On a few occasions one such case involved a pastor of a very popular Charismatic Baptist church living in homo-sex. He was called out publicly in his church assembly; noting after his repeated refusal to repent God gave that word. He the pastor later confessed that the Lord had been dealing with him, but couldn't break from that; not until that happened that is.
Likewise, no offense nor exception is taken concerning your 33:22 statement (nor do I believe you're deliberately 'Pigeon-Holing (stereotyping)), but not all "charismatic churches" walk in immaturity. Nor are all "charismatic' " people immature. Some 'Pentacostal Churches' like the 'Nazarene, Four Square, and Assembly of God' churches take chapter 14 to an extreme, almost to the point that if there were no tongues spoken one would be hard pressed to recognize them as "Pentacostal'; and that says nothing to some being accused of being 'Spirituality Dead', or "quenchingthe spirit". Yes, there's immaturity in all churches, and it may seem some take "immaturity" to whole new level; but again, not all charismatic churches or believers are immature anymore than all non charismatic believers and churches are mature. Tell me I'm wrong.😊

Good teaching. I know some cessationists who never say that God told me to tell you. It’s an absolute no no. They believe that you don’t add to the word of God as mentioned in the book of revelations. But true about people are operating in gifts without being aware. Question though can you still have a gift to be able to see and read a person but you are say a fortune teller or an occult worshipper? Like the women who kept after Paul then after 3 days Paul casts out the evil spirit? How do we know what is of God and what is from the enemy or am I asking the wrong question.
Wanting to learn here to walk in truth. Thanks

There is no such thing as the "gift of discernment ". The Bible calls it the gift of the discerning of spirits. It is a recognition of a wrong spirit (or if you like, supernatural entity) operating in a situation or someone's life .

Bro, there are unsaved non Christians who seem to be able to read minds, etc... Satan can also replicate and he knows the Word of God more than any one of us mortals, as seen from Scriptures when he quotes from OT to tempt our Lord.
1 Cor 13:1-3: "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing."

Please don't equate charismatic with pentecostal. Not only are they not the same, but they are opposites of one another. The gifts of the spirit only work in a sanctified believer. What you referred to as a prayer warrior. And they operate as the spirit wills, not the christian. Penecostal believes the spirit falls onto an obedient christian seeking a close walk with God. But charismatics believe new christians have to be taught by church elders how to speak in tongues and operate in the spirit. That's not biblical. I have only seen charismatics on CBN tv. And the spirit of God in me was repulsed by what I saw. Charismatics that teach people to operate in the gifts are mocking God. Every where in scripture the spirit falls on believers or through prayer and laying on of hands of the apostles. And yes, the gifts of the spirit do operate in christian's today, but only in sanctified christian's.
