Dude we tried to remove the screw the whole day without even thinking about the possibility that it could be a counter clockwise threaded one, Thank you for this video. We could've also looked into the manual.... :D
haha no worries at all, I'm glad it helped. Thanks for watching and your comment.
Have you got a vid on replacing the Cush drive rubbers? Or know of one for the MV F3 800/B3 800?
Hi there, no unfortunately not, I have not had to do that yet assuming you may have to pull the hub and sprocket off. Sorry I cannot be of any help. Ross
Very good video Ross
Thanks John, I hope you had a great weekend. Ross
@@RossPerryProductions I’m struggling to get the top fairing off. There are two bolts that appear to be inaccessible - any hints?
Hi, do you need that special pentagon 55mm tool? can't you undo it with a standard 55mm 12 point socket?
Hi there, yes I believe you can also use them.
Very useful ! thankyou !
No worries Iain, Thanks for watching and your comment.
with this new exhaust does it give you an exhaust error on the monitor??????
Hi there, no not at all as the new exhaust was downstream from the exhaust valve, check out my other video of me fitting the exhaust : th-cam.com/video/IeTURnsmsfE/w-d-xo.html

Whats the torque value for the hub nut.. cheers for posting 👍
Hey Stuart 200-220NM it may be easier to achieve through the hub from the other side if you have a one direction torque wrench :) thanks for watching
@@RossPerryProductions cheers Ross, I've just bought mine, haven't turned a wheel on it yet due to weather.
Thats a big Torque Value lol
@@Stu-SB Hi Stuart, It sure is, the thread is super close and opposing too, I hope the video helps. Ross
@@RossPerryProductions 100% mate... spot on cheers
Have you had rear brake issues that everyone seems to be getting ?
HI David, my rear brake switch has stopped working but that's about it, saying that I don't use the rear brake much. What issues have people been having? Ross
@@RossPerryProductions so Just the stop switch not the brakes your saying, There are people posting about the rear brake becoming spongy then disappears completely even when not in use like six months etc MV don't give a stuff and i know of at least 3 in Christchurch NZ that have this problem mine included, its been bled 3 times now by the agent and id say there is an issue with the abs module.
@@davidbutcher6637 Oh wow, I will keep checking on mine, however I have had it 3 years and no issues so far. Ross
@@davidbutcher6637 I have the same Problem on my 2013 F3 675. It seems like it's a common issue because the brake fluid container sits right above the exhaust and one the back of the engine. As it get's hot by time, air is getting into the rear braking system and causes the inconsistent braking power. You can see if you compare the newer models have rearanged the position of the container which sits outside now.
@@theflygashi I fixed mine by when in storage i add a board under the footpeg around 400mm long (4x2) and rests on the brake pedal and sit two bricks on it,keeps break under load and since then have never had a rear break problem for years, before that it had been in the shop five times. If i hadnt found a solution was going to bypass the ABS traction unit on the rear circult only and make it a hard line.Only affects the rear and believe its that module giving an issue.A simple add remove components to find the problem.I dont personally think its the fluid container as it would still do it on every ride on my fix and it has stopped completely.
great video , save me 80.00 $$$ THANK YOU
No worries at all thanks for watching, please remember to give the thumbs up and subscribe. Ross
