I never played Wind Waker but I did play Minish Cap as my first Zelda. Picked up Toon Link pretty much just because he was a secret unlockable in Brawl so I thought that meant he had to be good. Still having fun with him today.
Your toon link videos always remind me how much sauce this character has, his tool kit is so cool this is why toon link my favorite. It’s so fun to watch
I think the only "honest" character in the game is probably Lucina, no long combos, no ludicrous strength/damage, fair mobility, no cheesy setups. The "cheesiest" thing she has is her up b as a combo-breaker, but she dies if it misses. She's good, but that doesn't make her cheesy. She also can be bland tho. So i prefer Marth, they live forever or die at 20, now roll the dice. (Curious what others think.)
@@Countdownsmiles I feel like Lucinas counter is scaled pretty reasonably. Doesn't take stocks very early. Feels like a fair tool, especially compared to Sora and Sephiroth
@@Chip10591 How are they not cheese? You become completely invincible and retaliate. And some reflect projectiles too like Joker's. They wouldn't be called small pp if they were honest
I wish I could have been a part of the honest character debate; Dr. Mario is as honest as it gets. Literally his entire moveset is shared with the rest of the cast. He has zero originality.
I could be wrong but I think shiek is the most honest. Sure shiek can combo you for a minute straight, but hit her three times and you're both even on damage. And while shiek's frame data is stupid, Literally anyone in the game can outspace her. And while she is fast and mobile... Sonic exists.
I totally agree with you sillin, even though I am main pit I must say that orbitals are one of the cheater moves in the game, as you say, no one else has access to an aerial shield
2:40, years this guy gets me when it comes to hero. He made the game fun by being such a hat trick character you never know what will come out next as opposed to characters like jig or game and watch.
What do you consider "cheese" in Smash, and does a character's cheesiness get balanced out by other means they get exploited? Ganondorf may be considered cheesy for his kill power and maybe his shield-breaking potential, but he can have a hard time exploiting those strengths of his without in turn getting zoned out, gimped, or having faster characters smother him with superior frame data.
I like letting the TH-camrs get their deserved watch time. Does it have a major negative outcome if i stop the video during the last 15 seconds or so? I know that sounds like a dumb question lol
6:01 Ganondorf? Can’t think of any move that’s cheesy or anything. You get stomped on, you probably deserved it. Ganoncide? Again, you fell for it. Most of his moves are so slow, it really is your fault if you get hit 😂
Well... he is the most consistent in terms of combos, he has the best overall stats out of the links (not as combo food as link, fastest run speed, small, so on...), good and easy kill confirms, good oos, best zoner...
