the topics of your videos ALWAYS come at the perfect time for me, it's uncanny! now that my skin has cleared up i wanted to start using tinted moisturizers instead of heavy foundation. love you! :D
i use clinique moisture surge tinted moisturizer, and i love it! it has really little coverage though because i dont have acne. it evens out my skin tone though, and makes my skin glow
Haha yes there is! BB cream is normally white, which blends into your skin and matches perfectly. It almost always has about no coverage whatsoever- maybe a tiny bit. It's normally just to help blotchiness. Though it is similar to TM; TM is a moisturizer which comes in a color that you have to match to your skin. Also, BB is also more of a matte difference and TM is much more of a dewy finish. TM also is not as sheer as BB.
I like that you repeat your main ideas in the video 2 or 3 times. It helps to keep that ideas in mind through the reel. Also you have a nice voice, so i don't think your videos too long
tinted moisturizers give a tint of colour while moisturizing your face. BB creams, give much more coverage than a tinted moisturizer but not too much where it's like a foundation, it also contains skin nourishing benefits with vitamins and skin-correcting features to them. :)
In my opinion the best tinted moisturiser is your normal moisturiser mixed with some of your favourite foundation:) I don't think it will disappoint you!
My mom would prefer I wear tinted moisturizer rather than foundation. I do wear foundation on a daily basis, because, like you, I have a lot of acne and I would rather them be covered up. If my skin ever gets better I will probably start using tinted moisturizer. Thanks for the video :)
I love my tinted moisturizer! Mine is covergirl, and it's really lights and makes my face soft. If I do wear foundation I wear Covergirl NatureLuxe or BareMinerals, but I can use a tinted moisturizer and leave the house. I don't have acme anymore but I have sever redness and a TM covers it up pretty well!
Could you please do review on products you have tried? Not only tinted moisturizers, but all sorts of skin, makeup, and hair products please! I love how informative your videos are and I'd love to see reviews from you ^_^ Thank you!!!
@lizzylabelle I'd say use the moisturizer that works for your skin. If anything, after you use the moisturizer from the acne system, you could use the moisture surge after to give you more moisture. I'd say listen to your skin's needs before you do anything anyone else tells you. Only you know how your skin behaves and only you can tell what works and what doesn't work. Experiment with the moisturizers and see which way works best for you.
I love tinted moisturizers....I have dry normal to dry skin. I also try mixing my moisturizer with a bit of foundation...because some days, I just don't want anything but a moisturizer and other days I want my foundation. I want to try Beauty Balm that I've seen reviewed though :)
i stopped using foundations, instead i use tinted moisturizer and now my skin improved a lot! i swear i will only use foundation if i have a lot to cover.
Clinique acne solutions (med-full coverage) foundation is pretty good. Mix a little bit of this foundation with your Moisturizer or a Face Sunscreen to CREATE YOUR OWN TINTED MOISTURIZER. Hope this helps :)
Healthy Wear™ SPF 50 Tinted Moisturizer by Physicians Formula is amazing! A little goes a long way and it gives medium coverage, which is perfect for everyday, plus it has SPF 50. I got mine at CVS and normally it's like $14. It comes in a really nice plastic tube thing so that you can throw it in your purse without worrying about breaking or spilling! Hope this helps(:
BB creams have more 'properties" thicker than a tinted moisturizers, anti-aging propteries, spf, more on water base, makes your skin, "whiter," comes in a very few shades, (Oringinally came from Germany, but it got crazy among the asian countries,) You can tinted moisturizers in alot of stores, unlike BB creams, you have to order them online, unless you're lucky to find em' in stores,
@4EverBrunetteBeauty i used to use olay touch of foundation which was awesome! but there is only one shade so i used to mix mine with more moisturizer to lighten the color. Jouer Luminizing Tinted Moisturizer is the best tinted moisturizer I have found. You can order it on Birchbox or Jouer's website.
@NevermindXoXo BB creams can be compared to tinted moisturizers. The texture and coverage is similar, there's sunscreen in it, as well as various nutrients and sometimes whitening properties too. The shades are limited to only one kind though, lighter/darker depending on the company. I've only tried the BB creams from Japan or Korea, except for Garnier (which was a disaster..) so I'm not sure how other Western BB creams are.
@BeautyAndTacos21 I"m not too sure about tinted moisturizers have less coverage than BB cream, it doesnt really do anything, but they have sunscreens, like she said its a lot lighter on the face. BB creams, commonly known as Blemish Balm. So it basically repairs your scars ( zinc) , slightly better coverage than tinted moisturisers, but way less coverage than foundations. BB creams evens out skin tones, has spf properties. BB creams are more popular in Asian Cultures than Western cultures.
@barkingSPIDUUR You need to be using a proper moisturizer and if you're getting acne, it's because those flaky bits are clogging your pores, so you also need to exfoliate. Would advise against using powder on the dry bits, bc in my experience it clings to dry skin. So yeah, moisturize and exfoliate. Your skin is overproducing oil because of the dryness. If you provide it with adequate moisture, it should calm down. Proactive might be the worst thing you can do for your skin.
hey Cas! I really like your videos but i find when you try to make a short video, your not giving us all the information you want ... I like your long videos!! Your voice isnt annoying, you dont ramble, (alot ;) ) and your very sweet and pretty! :)
@MsDestahnee heck yes you can. it'll save you money too if you already have a favorite moisturizer & foundation on hand. just mix a bit of each together & you're done.
Dear Cass, You are a very kind, beautiful, gentle girl, inside and out. I like make up too. I appreciate all of the research you present; you do a very good job. You have a great presentation and your diction is excellent. It is easy to see that you are smart and observant, and thoughtful as well. If people bitch about the length of your videos, what are they saying? Let them go. Not everyone has an attention span big enough to get IT. In the end, those who stay love YOU. I do. Be well. bye
My skin did not react to this foundation. This foundation does contain salicylic acid which will exfoliate, so if you have sensitive skin make sure it is appropriate for you. Right now I'm using the Clinique Even Better Foundation, b/c my acne is under control, so I want to work on correcting my PIH/uneven skin tone. Hope that wasn't TMI. TC and Wish You The Best.
@zziggy808 I recommend ELF one's if you're looking for something that is the same quality and amount as the price. At Target, I found it for about $3. You have to be careful when you put it on though, because sometimes it will turn your skin orange if there is too much of the product in one spot and that can also sometimes create lines. I enjoy using ELF's moisturizer just because the price is low, and it does the job. It doesn't completely cover like a foundation, but it works just fine. :)
Very informative video. A bit redundant but overall it's quite appreciated because it covered a lot. What kind of tinted moisturizer do you use? Are tinted moisturizers and bb creams the same thing? Have you tried a lot of different brands? Your opinion on them? I'm just wondering because I am trying to make a decision on what to purchase.
Would it be possible to tell us which tinted moisturizers and foundation actually work AND are healthy (no parabens, harmful chemicals etc.)? Great earrings and bracelet !
Hey ! your videos have given me so much information and i thank you for that :) . Could you make a video about sunscreen ! please ! i'll realy appreciate if you tell us when to use it ? Could we use it if we have acne ? What kind should we use ? Does it has some negative effects on our face? and all the things you know about it ! Thank you very much :D
Hi Cassandra *By the way, your name is so pretty haha it reminds me of a princess (:* But anyway, have you tried the CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation? I would HIGHLY reccomend it! It's beautiful, feels light, has good coverage, is affordable, has a good shade range, and looks natural and healthy! You would love it!
your jewelry is aaaaamazing! :) i was watching your earrings the entire time (but that duddnt mean i wasn't paying attention!) and i was like, transfixed lol:D
BB cream originated in Asia (Korea I believe, but the Germans made it!) BB cream in my opinion is the SHIT! it has crazy great amounts of SPF and it was never too oily for my oily skin :) It's basically the same thing... BB creams just have more "benefits" for you skin! :) Good luck and I hope that helped!
@sweetblueBerries1 hey, well a tinted moisturizer is very easy to make :D just mix your moisturizer with your foundation. :) just try different amounts of both till you have your perfect tinted moisturizer. xxx!
@lulielguer Perhaps. Maybe it's the fancy exotic writing on the packaging? oooooo what's it say? coooool. That being said, BB creams, asian or otherwise, are virtually the same thing as tinted moisturizer. Believe me, I've tried many foreign and domestic BB creams and tinted moisturizers. They are the same. The only difference as far as I can see is that, at least the asian BB creams, are more warm colored and less beige, which is cool.
finally something that men can use to help diminish the look of their acne ! Thanks Diamond P.S. to all the women who always say how lucky guys are because they don't have to put on make-up : 1. men do have acne 2. often even worse then women 3. men can't cover it up, although they would all like to !
Could you do video on lotion and spray on sunscreen wich are the best brands, and which have stronest protection. The best way to apply it and what to avoid.
@permadawn I disagree I don't think my asian bb cream (Missha signiture complete bb cream) is like a tinted moisturizer at all. . I've tried many high end tinted moisturizers and they are not the same. My lasts longer and it covered better than my foundation (that said it does't wear light like a tinted moisturizer but the coverage is flawless). I'm obviously not an expert on bb creams but I know mine isn't comparable to a tinted moisturizer.
Your skin looks perfect in the video, so I was wondering if your acne got better now?! I really hope it did and you are not as much sad and frustrated anymore. I wish you all the best! Hugs :)
I have found the garnier bb cream really good for my skin!! I usually put a good toner underneath so it is not too greasy. I love your vids, how do u come up with all these different ideas??
Hi! Could you give us an idea of some of your favorite tinted moisturizers out there? I have mild acne and super, incredibly oily skin, so I tend to want a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Which would you suggest?
I use a moisturizer and a tinted moisturizer from sephora. I really like it but in an hour or so my fore-head will start to get oily, but if I don't use the tinted moisturizer it takes a little longer for my skin to get oily. so I have to put a little power on and it helps a lot. but why does it make my skin oily? it says oil-free on the bottle
OH MY GOODNESS! CASSANDRA I NEED YOUR HELP! Okay so I have very oil/ dry flaky skin. it's very oily all over my face except for the cheek area below my cheek bone if you can visualize that. anyways I use a oil control product from proactiv all over my oily area and that doesn't seem to help and I use oil blotting sheets! but then on my dry flaky area my makeup looks terribly awful:( and I touch up with powder throughout the day but then I feel like I'm wearing mask a and I use too faced primed
I feel myself getting more and more confident about my acne, the more videos I watch from you, and I just wanted to thank you for that! :)
idk why but she looks like taylor Swift for me lol 😁
Tatiana Carbo omg yass

I don't even wear them, but i'm so obsessed with seeing all of your new videos haha.
I've been using a tinted moisturizer as foundation. Concealer of bits that need it and set with powder. Works great.
Omg you have to be the prettiest person I've ever seen.
In my opinion the best tinted moisturiser is your normal moisturiser mixed with some of your favourite foundation:) I don't think it will disappoint you!
Im in beauty college in finland but somehow you give me more information in every video than my teachers ever!! :D I love you, keep going
My mom would prefer I wear tinted moisturizer rather than foundation. I do wear foundation on a daily basis, because, like you, I have a lot of acne and I would rather them be covered up. If my skin ever gets better I will probably start using tinted moisturizer. Thanks for the video :)

I use the bodyshop tinted moisturiser, I use transparent compressed power to set it and a power concealer, and it does the job good!💛
Could you please do review on products you have tried? Not only tinted moisturizers, but all sorts of skin, makeup, and hair products please! I love how informative your videos are and I'd love to see reviews from you ^_^ Thank you!!!
you are by far my absolute favorite beauty guru, and a great person.
I LOVE how you post videos like every day!
you're amazing, I've become more confident with my makeup since watching your videos! thankyou! i love you!
I love how you put so much videos and they still have content!

@Wikkiie sortof, but a bb cream has sunscreen, zit cream, primer, concealer, and aniaging properties

@MsDestahnee heck yes you can. it'll save you money too if you already have a favorite moisturizer & foundation on hand. just mix a bit of each together & you're done.
@Clypsion
BB cream has more benefits to your skin, skin care wise. They say that by using it often it can improve your skin.
Dear Cass, You are a very kind, beautiful, gentle girl, inside and out. I like make up too. I appreciate all of the research you present; you do a very good job. I use the 100% Pure tinted moisturizer and love it on my mature, freckled and skin damaged face. No foundation for me.
I make videos myself, and this one girl asked about acne and scarring and oily skin. I recommended you to her :) you may have an extra subscriber!
@zziggy808 I recommend ELF one's if you're looking for something that is the same quality and amount as the price. At Target, I found it for about $3. Can you do a video about lip plumpers? You don't need it of course but i've always been a little hesitant to use them... just a suggestion. :)
@XBewareOfTheZombehX you can learn how to cover it by watching her previous video on green primer. Green primer cancels out redness.
Could you do a video on teeth whitening products? Thank you!! Love your videos :)
Love to listen to you:)
I am always putting ur videos when I am making some home gym!
Your makeup looks amazing here!
you're such an inspiration! lots of love xooxox

Hi Cassandra *By the way, your name is so pretty haha it reminds me of a princess (:* But anyway, have you tried the CoverGirl NatureLuxe Foundation? I would HIGHLY reccomend it! You still have to use your regular moisturizer :) and still set it.
BB cream originated in Asia (Korea I believe, but the Germans made it!) @sweetblueberries1 You can just mix a regular foundation with moisturizer.

Your skin looks perfect in the video, so I was wondering if your acne got better now?! I really hope it did and you are not as much sad and frustrated anymore. I wish you all the best! Hugs :)
@swtgrl2kno that wouldn't be an actual bb cream though. its the korean bb creams that does more, in my opinion :P
Can you please do a video about bb creams and another video about ingrown hairs??
I have found the garnier bb cream really good for my skin!! I usually put a good toner underneath so it is not too greasy. I love your vids, how do u come up with all these different ideas??
what lipstick or gloss are you wearing ! I LOVE IT
Great video. I didn't think you repeated yourself too much. The video was perfect.
Hi! Could you give us an idea of some of your favorite tinted moisturizers out there? I have mild acne and super, incredibly oily skin, so I tend to want a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. Which would you suggest?
@permadawn Maybe, but the asian version (not the american one) is seems a really interesting products to try.
haha, you said that you would try making the video short but it ended up being more than 15 minutes :D I don't mind though, I like your long videos :D
I use a moisturizer and a tinted moisturizer from sephora. I really like it but in an hour or so my fore-head will start to get oily, but if I don't use the tinted moisturizer it takes a little longer for my skin to get oily. so I have to put a little power on and it helps a lot.

so pretty and smart!
