I've listened to this track around 10 times since it was released a few days ago, and it's fucking awesome! The atmosphere, the riffs, the nuances of the drumming... Satyricon are always pushing the scene forward. Massive respect to them. Can't wait for the album release.

To me this is the best Satyricon i ever heard although i heard The Shadowthrone like a madman back in the days. This is really good and evolved stuff. Will buy the new record and also can't wait for the new Enslaved record.

LOVE IT! Different, and yet the same sound. Reminds me, in parts, of Nekrohaven. Love what Frost chooses to do, very interesting. Satyr could sing the phone book to me & I'd be OK with that:-) Can't wait for my CD to arrive!

I think they have hit a nail/nerve with this one. Very melodical, but very clean sounding, and with heavy drums. It´s like a black metal song using Deep Purple sound of the 70´ties. It sounds solid and very original. But a bit strange, if u ask me. After a few listenings it grows on you. Guess I´m adaptable.. :D (I also Imagine how this would sound with a "Mother North", or the "Rebel Extravaganza" sound. That would sound super, But it would also kill the intent of the song.) I want more!

This is a very, very cool song. Really interesting drum work, really cool background clean vocals and lyric phrasing. There will always be people who cannot appreciate songs like these, but let them listen to the old stuff. Don't let destructive criticism get to you guys. Of course, you haven't done that. Otherwise you wouldn't be here today. :) Cheers!
Yea this is fucking great. Last album was kinda a dud but this sounds like they picked up where Age of Nero left off, more of a progression of that "Black&Roll" sound- even has a slightly bluesy quality to some of the riffs, and Frost's drumming is impeccable as always. Mix/Production is better than the last album too. I'm fucking stoked for the new album.
Well said. Satyricon was a great black metal band back then. Now Satyricon has its own, unique sound. I think they are very good at what they do.

It's so fuckin' easy to play "traditional" black metal but what is the point when 2 out of 3 bands play like old-school?
