That's killer man! I really like your products and would jump all over this if it only had the climate dials and controls added at the bottom as well. I live in Oklahoma and it might be 40* in the morning but 80* in the afternoon and so with a quick scroll of that dial without having to look and touch the screen is a huge deal for some of us! Maybe in the future yall could incorporate something like that! I would buy it immediately!!! Keep up the good work!

My backup camera was working fine, I installed front cam and it worked fined until I hit a setting somewhere and all I get now is no signal
I have a 2015 ram with factory reverse camera. I hooked up my gen iv today and the connected the factory cam input to the reverse cam input. When I put my truck in reverse my camera is not popping up????

How do you connect the camera behind the trailer? Will you have to run wire from the camera to the truck where it will connect then run it to the radio?

hey is there any videos on the install of all the cameras? im just curious on powering the cameras...i installed the gen 4 in my f150 and just got the side mirror cams and a front cam looking to install but im not sure how i power the cameras...is there a power and ground line on the camera on the gen 4?
You can power them behind the radio.
I just got mine today and I don't have the option at too of camara screen how do I get that?

What I have done is hook up factory camera and it works,then I hooked up my aftermarket camera to front camera RCA and powered it from front camera power but can find anyway to turn on front camera,under setting it shows front camera is off but will not let me turn it on
@@LinksWellInc I have my factory camera hooked up and a aftermarket camera hooked up in the front camera spot but it will not let me turn on any of the other camera spots only the factory camera,do you have any idea what I can do to fix?
Can you add this if you have the factory 360, front, and rear cams? Wouldn't mind the cargo and side cameras in addition to the factory cams.
In theory maybe? It would make the 360 work a little weird but I think you could do it. So long as your current 350 is controlled by the touch screen.

Being able to put it in reverse and just hit the trailer cam button is a huge reason why I bought this. When I called they said I should hook the camera up the right camera input and that seems kinda backwards.
So we are still working on this interface module for the GM. If you want to be able to see the trailer camera in reverse now you would need some sort of external camera switcher. That lets you take multiple inputs and send out a single out put. That way you decide which camera the radio sees when in reverse.
Connecting the trailer camera to Right will work except when in reverse. When you go into reverse the back up camera will take over.
Can you install a factory front camera and aftermarket side cameras? My f250 only has reverse and cargo cameras
You can try. The factory front cameras requires the module from Ford to work. So you would have to look into that with Ford.
I need this bad. I installed a cargo cam to the front cam output but didnt realize I could just turn it on manually when backing up to my 5th wheel as the backup cam overrides it. Any idea what the cost will be?

Any idea how to get the screen to turn on with remote start? Boot time takes too long for me and i'm already backing up and driving before it boots, so my back cam is useless
Get an aftermarket remote start that you can set it to turn on the Accessory power. The factory remote starts don’t power up the entire car.
The camera should be working before boot up though.
Just found this video. Have yall developed a multi interface camera module for the Ram yet? I have a 2014 Ram 2500. Would love to get one for my truck. Just bought the Linkswell gen 4.

No, 2 totally different devices doing different jobs. This is to help you see and drive, the DVR camera is for recording. They don’t interact.

I got the gen 4 for my f250 platinum, but all the cameras do not work, how can I get the 3rd brake light camera to work? All the cameras like in this video. Please advise. Also, the clock is always off when I turn on the truck, is that a fixable bug?
I have a video on here on how to fix the clock. It's a setting.
The cameras wi depend. Did you install the 360 retention module? And did you program the radio to the right settings for the 360 camera?

I just finished installing Gen 5 on my ram 1500 and it's awesome! Is there a way to adjust those guidlines when going in reverse? The trajectory lines aren't very accurate.
There isn’t. Sorry. They are just basic overlay lines set where they are.

Question for GM... If I connected a cargo cam to the front cam input.... When I am in reserve from what I can tell there is no button to switch to the "front cam". Is that programmable to enable a button or is there a way to back out of the backup cam while in reverse?
No. Reverse camera will always trump. So you would need your create a video switching system connected to the reverse input.
K. So what triggers the Right Cam to come on?
I currently have your multi-cam system. So thinking: Front cam on the Front cam input. Side cams into a switcher into to the Right cam input. Rear, Cargo, and Trailer into a switcher into the Backup cam input.
@@sargenthp you have this multi cam system? If you have this one you can switch cameras when ever you want. In reverse or not because it uses the reverse input.

Does this system support the cargo camera on a 2018 ram as well as the back up camera?
You can only retain one or the other unless you install an after market camera switcher.
Is there a camera install diagram for the gen 5 for GMC? I can't seem to get the front and right camera to work.

You should just need to plug the RCA into the matching input on the black camera input harness.

The side camera you turn on in settings and it will flip when the turn signal is turned on.
Right now my tailgate camera is somehow bypassed and only my after-market cargo camera works when backing up. Something must have been wired up incorrectly. Plus I have the option of Rear, Front, and right camera. Don't need the right camera but wanting a front camera as well a trailer camera in addition to my cargo and tailgate camera.
Any suggestions?
Not totally following you. Our radio stock only gives you one reverse cam input. Do you have our Multi Cam module installed?
@@LinksWellInc Sorry what is the multi Cam module? I can only view my cargo camera when in park or driving but not backing up. Your video shows otherwise. I have model # TS-DGPU10-4RR-4/8. I like what your video has to offer while in reverse changing different cameras instead of adding an aftermarket switch to control it. I don't recall seeing a Multi Cam Module.
@@MarioElzen Gotcha. right so we are still in development for the multi cam for the Ram, we have one for the Ford, but haven't gotten it done for the Dodge yet.
@@LinksWellInc Would you happen to know when as I need to do something in order to get my cargo camera working and hooking up my 5th wheel. I understand you can hook up a two-way switch and while in reverse instead of the tailgate camera being displayed the switch hidden somewhere in the dash can be switched over to the cargo camera. That is all I need it for. At the moment it is not set up that way and I have to get out of the truck a few times to make sure I am lined up properly.
When I get my linkswell gen 4 for my 2014 Ram,, I want to install an aftermarket camera in the bed of my truck. So that I can use it for when I'm backing up to my 5th wheel. question is, when I hook up the RCA cable to the front camera RCA cable, Do I use the red wire from the RCA cable and hook it up to the front power cable on the back of the radio or just leave it disconnected? Thank you..
So you will actually need to use some sort of video switching device. When you put the truck in reverse it will always go to reverse input.
So you need something that will let you switch between Tailgate and Cargo camera both sharing the Reverse input.
@@LinksWellInc I think I know what you're talking about, but can I wire the red wire from the RCA cable to the outside fuse box to a fuse that comes on when the truck is running? Then hook the other end to the back of the radio to the front power cable? Thanks
@@Mboyce1959 if you are just looking for a source of power for the cargo camera we have both constant and ACC power available for you to use to connect to power things like a camera in the back of the radio.

@@Mboyce1959 there is a green plug with a yellow, red, and black wire on it.
Yellow is Constant,
Red is ACC
Black is ground.
Why the jl reverse guidelines does not look like these?
Because they are created by a different source. This set up was all aftermarket cameras with our switcher.
The Jeep JL camera is factory.

The JL factory camera guidelines will be different because it is a different camera and different screen. Guidelines change based on the camera itself and if the camera produces the lines or if the radios produces the lines.
So different radios and different cameras will make guidelines that don’t all look the same.
Will the factory cargo camera on my 2020 ram 2500 be retained ?
This system is designed to be used with aftermarket cameras……
To answer the question on the Ram though…. The new RAM is running a new special AHD camera system that we haven’t been able to crack how the cargo camera works yet. Only have it working the tailgate camera.
When would this be available for GM trucks?
Not sure yet.

Not 360. We have a Multi Camera system. But not one that stitches together a 360 view.

It won’t. GEN 2 doesn’t have the CanBus interface needed to make it work right now.
will this work with an xlt without 360 and regular 8 inch display?
Yep! That is actually the exact truck we installed it into. But the camera system will only work on our T-Style Screen. Kit the factory. We do have the same kind of interface that will work in the SYNC 3 screen though.

@@Tacorice certain features do. But you will lose the tracking of the truck from your app.

Also have a tundra. When I installed I remember seeing the harness showed front cam and right side cam. Do I need a different module? I just ordered the cameras and now I’m wondering if it will work to hook up the harness I have.

I have a f 150 2013 ome camera how can i make the look better it looks like a vcr tape
So unfortunately you have to replace it. The resolution on that camera is really low. So when it goes into our screen it shows it's weak signal. You could try a video booster but that would be more work and probably more expensive than just swapping the camera out.

It actually should in theory because the Mustang shares harnesses with the F-150.
