Patrick DeVito I think GRR will be fine when things get back to normal minus the DL MD-88s :( but there are many other sad things like AA retiring their 757s and 767s, Delta retiring the -88s, -90s, and 767s, KLM retiring their 747s, and many airlines permanently grounding their A380s. That stuff makes me super sad. And I hate to say it, but I think a few airlines will go belly up.
That is one of the best places to go plane spotting. I've been trying to find departures from that angle for videos but nothing until i found this. THANKS LEPP AVIATION!!!!!!! Btw the new united livery on the 787-10 looks dope
@@kimberlyfernandez2104 Ok. First of all you're not going to call me that, second of all I'm only 13, and third of all that was very unnecessary for the language. Do not ever call anyone that ever in your life again you feel?
1:10 great and lucky sound. After about the 50th time of watching this video i just now realize how lucky it is that you catch Delta as they are gated right at the beginning of the runway on the other side and they have to taxi around the entire airport to get there.
I'm watching and then I see "A380, age: 12 years". It feels just like yesterday when I wanted to travel to LAX to see the A380 coming for a visit for the first time around 2005 or earlier. Time flies so fast. Who can relate with me here?
woooow what a great movie 😀😍 sitting there in the early morning hours on a gorgeous day... I love that too at my home airport VIE/LOWW... have a great day buddy take care from Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 by the way my airport is closed my home carrier Austrian stopped all flights including the one to LAX!! What a sad time for aviation
it's still an amazing video, you can planespot in this time with the covid-19 virus, you still see many aircraft flying and what amazes me (and mentor pilot) is that there are still so many planes flying short haul and long haul flights, keep up the insane work!
That was VERY IMPRESSIVE 👍, GREAT JOB LEEP AVA. ✈️🛩️✈️✈️💯 BOY HAS THIS WORLD GONE FROM SIMPLE PROP JOB AIRCRAFT TO SUPER JUMBOS ACCOMIDATING 500 PLUS PASSANGERS NICE!!💯👍 ACCOMIDATING 500 PLUS PASSANGERS WOW!!!
Crazy Qantas( VH-OQA) from Sydney was the aircraft that had the major engine failure leaving Singapore looking as nothing happened due to great technicians and engineers.. A wesome video.

Always great stuff from Lepp. Los Angeles huh? Now you’re in my old stomping grounds. The ATL is my domain now, and GA is my forever home; but I grew up in the LA area, and I have charged down those very runways many times, back in the 80’s & 90’s. I hope you have time to checkout some of the fantastic food while you’re out there.
I was just at LAX last week Monday and took a early morning Southwest flight to Pittsburgh via Denver. 60% flights from LAX were cancelled. Going through security, there were more TSA workers than passengers passing through. Our plane 737-700 only had 15 passengers to Denver. To Pittsburgh there were only 16. Spooky.
Growing up in LA we had the absolute best date place. Took girls to watch the planes take off and land at LAX. Dating myself because those were the days you could walk up to the gates.
Lepp I have a couple questions. I see this LA trip was a while back........so 2 questions. What is your "home base" airport and are you still visiting it and filming planes even with stuff while still active...just not as active right now? I mean I am sure you can still catch flights. Or are you basically on break and have a long list in the video queue for now? Thanks. :)
We've come so far with plane spotting these days. Destinations, flight times, tail numbers, ages. It just gets better and better. Unfortunately, since 9-11 the end of Runway 6L is closed - that is the ultimate LAX departure POV. Especially, since 6 and 7 are the wide body runways. This perspective is too far away - as seen with the A380 landing. However, this angle is effective - although, high ambient noise (there's a city street there). But the background at dawn looks lovely, the lights and the Santa Monica mountains. These are benches set up on an escarpment for people to sit and watch take offs and landings. Side note: the idea that American Airlines runs Airbus airframes sickens me.
With all of the cancellations and extremely low load factors on flights, why don’t airlines use small regional jets to their destinations? For example LAX to LAS,PHX,SEA could be on a erj 170 or smaller with the Big Three
the vibe and spotting early morning at clutters park is unmatched
It will ALWAYS AMAZE me how these beautiful jets take off ✈️
So sad what has been happening in aviation during all of this, thank you for still uploading videos but stay safe out there!
Patrick DeVito It is definitely very unfortunate. Plane spotting will never be the same..
Lepp Aviation very true I spot at Grand Rapids since I live here and it’s not the busiest airport, so with a lot of cancellations it doesn’t help.
Lepp Aviation didn’t know American were retiring their 757’s and I totally agree that some airlines will sadly stop service, it’s a sad time
Patrick DeVito I think qantas just retired there fleet of 747s
1:11 love that engine sound
It‘s a dream
757 for you
It sounds like an Airbus a320 engine
Rolls Royce sound?
Engines roar. My favorite sound part of aviation

Try Hollywood Ft Lauderdale Florida. Awesome to Rwy 9L/27R
Watching these type of videos makes me wanting to go to a airport with thicc planes and watch em land and takeoff
🤣🤣🤣
I’m in Tennessee so we don’t get anything but the once in a lifetime 787-8 from London to Nashville
That's technically the whole point of plane spotting
Thank you for sharing. Right now, my flight from SAT to DTW is a go; we shall see. Stay safe, everyone!
I worked at LAX for two years, and loved watching the different aircraft during take off and landing..
Thank you so much for this video. My trips have been cancelled as well and I took a lot of comfort in watching this video.
Good to see that people are still flying/traveling and not hiding like scared little rabbits. Proud of all of you who are not afraid!!
Yvonne James i can’t travel on quarantine
I used to love the old Tri-Stars. Great to see one of them.

I love all the additional information you write on each aircraft 👍👍👍
Great Video, love seeing these older boeing 767s and 757s
The in n out up the block is another awesome place to see the planes at LAX
I love this video! You did a great job capturing all of the planes at LAX!
4:53 That MD-11 definitely has a lot of life left despite it being almost 30 years old!

Raise your hand if you'd prefer a wide body 🖐🏾 to Hawaii vs taking a single aisle aircraft. 🙂
Awesome video👍👍
Cool video mate! Went to LAX a few month ago and it's truly amazing. Liked & Subbed! Keep it up
Loved it. So good to watch.

You should do some plane-spotting at McCarren Airport in Vegas one time.. been once there and it’s very cool.
I'm just happy to see in airline with a 787 Dreamliner that has their engines painted in another color besides white.
One beauty after another. Nice.

Awesome video. Keep'em coming.
Love your videos! Very nice! 😍👍👍👍
Great Video! Really enjoyed the info on planes.
LOL. It is so funny to see that almost all of the FedEx flights are going to Memphis!😂
It’s actually because it’s home of the FedEx that’s how they store packages there
Growing up in LA we had the absolute best date place. Took girls to watch the planes take off and land at LAX. Dating myself because those were the days you could walk up to the gates.
Love these videos🌍keep making them
really nice plane spotting brother
Hey did you shoot this from Clutter's park in El Segundo?
so many a380s. The good ol' days am i right
IT JUST STICKS OUT!!!
Thanks for uploading this. I used to call videos like this as "plane porn" but with all that's going on it's more like "plane therapy".
Was this video of runway 25R and 25L?

Aeroflot has the best livery

Why was qantas 787 headed to New York. Was it for project sunrise?
Christian Chin Qantas has a daily continuing flight to JFK from Australia
Get back to Australia
I hope you are right! Thanks
So miss seeing planes going past where I live here in UK normally theres 1 every 5 minutes
Hi,
is there a reason why the main gear doors of the Boeing 787's open before the nose gear doors?
Excellent spotting I recently moved to Los Angeles And I would like to know where is that place to spotting ?? Please.
It’s LAX
It's in Imperial Street by LAX
Stay safe and stay home!
GREAT VIDEO! THANKS!
75 million people go threw L A X every year and 50 million tourists visit L A , this is a very busy place
There are crows cowing around the airport but they love planes and finding food like bread
Wow, I never realized how long the 787-10 was...
