Hello Mr Sean Zippo I remember when You had the little car in for wiring trouble a while back. Why did they repower in the first place if the kohler was top notch to begin with? just wondering...... Also why is it so big of a deal other than money wise for begging to( smash ) the like or suscribe button????? its like the poor begging for shelter!!!! I thought The whole deal was to *HELP) folks not to Boast and pan around Your stuff going on how good of a deal You got and making money and getting caught doing it!!!! Lets face it thats why You got so pissed about the( Wheel deal) being a show off!!!! I am truly sorry but I differ from You So much as I found out that here as of late I must Leave now... My apologies,,,, Best wishes ,bob
I totally respect your opinion and where you stand Bob. But give me a moment of your time if you will. Camera Equipment, Free content that helps others to help them selves, editing software, time editing, uploading, computer equipment, power in the shop, tools to do the jobs right. Everything I do here on this channel is to help and to entertain. Why then is it so hard for my viewers to show their appreciation and show their understanding by clicking either thumbs up or down or to Subscribe to show their support? I've been helping countless people personally in comments and emails for 13 years, yet it's wrong of me to ask for support in return? If that's the case, that everything I do should be done for free and in fact at a great cost to me, then why do I even do this? I'll tell you...I do this TH-cam thing to help others. And I have....Literally 7.75 Million times in the course of 13 years. And what do I get? Honestly, very little. In 13 years, my TOTAL Revenue from TH-cam is at this moment $22,573. Divide that by 13 years Bob.....$1,736.38 a year. Should I also break down how much MORE I spend on providing content to my viewers? I'm perfectly ok with your decision to leave. But don't leave without first being well informed of the facts. The return for my efforts. The truth in real numbers. Lets take the math one step further. 7,787,014 views total divided by that 13 year total of $22,573. I have made a whopping 0.00289 CENTS per view. So if I WAS in this for the money....I'm definitely in the wrong line of work. You've missed the greater picture. I do this TH-cam thing because it helps others. Not for the money, as the math clearly shows. I wish you all the best in all you do Bob. Zip~
Now onto the first part of your comment. I paid $800 total for the two tractors. I valuated the Diesel at $700 and the B-12 at $100 due to all its missing parts and the amount of work I knew it would take to bring it back into service. The actual "on paper" deal was $550 for the Diesel and $250 for the B-12. But those were both very unrealistic valuations for the two tractors. Divulging the "Deal" as it was discussed and not what the actual values were caused a ripple effect that's since been resolved with both parties involved. Furthermore, I GAVE THE PREVIOUS OWNER $100 after selling the Diesel for $800. The exact amount of profit when considering the real world value of the Diesel. So....Take that information and decide....Am I in it for the money? Again, as in my other comment. If I was, I'm in the wrong business. Oh, lest we not forget, after I got the B-12 resurrected, I GAVE AWAY my Wards Squire! Yep...I'm a greedy bastard through and through Bob. As for replacing the anemic drive system and Kohler in the King Midget. The top speed with the original set up was a meeker 29mph. Now, with the CV Clutch and Briggs and Stratton V Twin Vanguard 18hp, top speed is more than doubled to 65mph. Sometimes, we speak without knowing all of the details. Now you know the details and everything that's transpired both with my TH-cam Channel and with the deal on the Diesel. Zip~
I've been subbed forever. Be happy to snap a picture and text it to ya if you like or take a screen shot.. That engine looks and sounds so good. I've never had a kohler , except their plumbing stuff in the tubs and sinks and it's top notch in my book. Excellent video Zip!
Motor sounds real good. These engines were built in a time when quality meant something. Dig out some more, love to see all those old gems you got hidden in the back...lol.
As time allows, I need to pull them out and run them. There's also Three Wisconsin's in the mix as well as a vintage old Lauson and a rarely seen Montgomery Wards 6V gas powered Airline Charger for charging batteries on equipment far from a conventional plug in charger that I need to bring back out of mothballs and give a run. If you search my channel, I show them all. Search Wisconsin Twin, Airline Charger and Lauson on my Channel's home page. Cheers! Zip~
Man that old engine runs great. I wonder if you have any ideas on how you may use some of those engines? Just cool to have them. You can always just pet them. You ever take one to bed with you? Just a thought. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
Please take a moment to read the Pinned comment. It explains a LOT about me, TH-cam and why I ask for people to Subscribe, hit the thumbs up or down and to comment. It's not out of Greed that I ask. It's to show YOUR appreciation for my efforts. Zip~
Very Nice! I don't actually own any of these, but I have only heard good things about them! Can't wait to see the old BR6 come back to life! Do you think you will do some more modern videos of some of your antique engines? ( If you still have them)
Wouldn't the smaller gear on the wall be the road gear pulley and connect to the outside drive clutch and the bigger one be first gear on the inside one . I am dyslexic remember, LOL
You're asking a Briggs guy? lol I "think"....and I use that term loosely lol....That the K number is the block and what HP range fits within a given K block. For example, the K321 is a 16hp where my K301 is a 12. At least that's how I understand it. Hopefully a Kohler know it all will please chime in and explain things. Cheers Bill! Zip~
That's pretty easy. It's any Cast Iron Engine that's still working hard. I'm partial to Briggs and Stratton, but Kohler and even the little guy, Tecumseh and obsolete Onan's all have their place if running. Any engine can last a lifetime with proper maintenance, and a survivor that's been in service since the 1950's, 60's and 70's deserves equal respect. Cheers! And GREAT Question! Zip~
Traitor will run with the 18hp that's in it, so sure....when I get to the project, I'll fire it up before I take the gas engine out and replace it with the diesel. I do have a number of videos of Traitor running on my channel. Thanks for being a Subscriber! Zip~

Can't beat the Kohler K301
They don't build them like that one anymore!
Where can one find the brackets holding on the starter

@@rotorcats Yep
Cool
No internal magneto? or high voltage coil burned out?
2 pulley system sort of like a torque converter set up?
Personally id rather have a k301 than a vanguard
