The Book of Us is indeed a series! The Book of Us Series talks about human connections and relationships. The first album, The Book of Us: Gravity focuses on meeting people, the force of attraction that brings people together. The songs in this album talk about learning to love yourself before loving other people and the excitement of forming a new relationship; the tittle track is Time Of Our Life (the Korean tittle translates to something like 'To Be One Page') and talks about writing a new page with someone. The second album of this series is The Book of Us: Entropy. In physics, entropy is the state of disorder and randomness; an example of this in our daily lives could be that if you don't purposely clean up it will naturally become cluttered because that's what it normally leans towards unless an action is applied. This way, the songs in the album start with the beginning of relationships, being happy and in love when everything is new and exciting. Sweet Chaos, the tittle track, talks about how someone's life has changed upside down since meeting a new person but thy enjoy the change. However, the second half of the album deals with the start of crumbling relationships. Like it's name, this album is very diverse and has many different genres, almost feeling 'random' at times but it manages to all work well together. This album, The Book of Us: The Demon, is the third installment of the series. It is based on the Demon Theory that cause particles of one kind to lean towards one side. Day6 explains this in their trailer for the album as all the love being only on one side. This can be interpreted as the love in the relationship becoming one sided. This album's lyrics talk about the toxic feelings in the relationships, with other people and with yourself; from not feeling like you're enough for the other person, to only wanting them for yourself. Yet again, Day6 have managed to deliver another incredible album full of emotions and inmmense talent.

The psychological parts and all those emotions that they wanna portray are things I think we can all relate to, and that's what makes the music even better! Park Jaehyung- oldest, vocal, rapper, plays the electric guitar, he was born in Argentina but he moved to US (CAL) so he speaks fluent english. Kang Younghyung- vocal, rapper, he plays the bass and he's multitalented, he also is fluent in english bc he studied in Canada. Kim Wonpil- vocal, he plays the keyboar/piano, the cuttest, his voice is so soft and beautiful. the first song had all 5 members singing in it! dowoon is their drummer, maknae, and he started with day6 without any vocal training but hes been getting more practice and parts in songs! jae is the oldest but sungjin is their leader with the raspy voice both guitarists, youngk is one of the ones whos vocals u were praising and he has one of the widest ranges in the industry plus their bassist! wonpil with his clear falsetto is their synth and keyboardist! they're a super talented group that composes, writes all their own songs, and plays their instruments. this is the first time a jyp boy group has been able to top charts in YEARS and im so glad u could react to this album!! entropy is a very diverse album from them and you should def check it out ^^

I had similar reactions to Tick Tock (really loved the tick tock part), Love me or Leave me (the drop pleasently surprised me), and 1 to 10 (thought it was better than stop and it definitely grew on me the more I listened).

The thing with DAY6 songs is that you need to read the lyrics. The lyricism in this album is EXQUISITE. The members are actually currently going through a rough patch in terms of their mental state and have been told to cancel all promotions for this album. The fact that they wrote this album about their current struggles is honestly really touching.

I really appreciate the dedication to a full album listen! It's usually easier to do smaller clips. I also really like that you just listen to audio. So many reactions to music videos just focus on what they're seeing in the video and not the sound. I think MyDays have a big culture around focusing on the music so that's nice to see :) I would recommend watching their performances on radio shows FOR SURE! What I got from this album is that they have some very poppy songs like Day & Night and then they have more of their rocky songs like STOP and 1 to 10. To me 1 to 10 and Afraid sound like very Day6 songs- so they’re the songs that sound the most like what Day6 would do. And the more rocky songs are also more like Day6 but I really like the other songs tho cause I haven’t really heard much like that from them :) I kinda prefer the more rocky songs but tick tock and day & night are 2 of my favourite songs from the album. But Day6 do have a reputation for always making amazing songs-

Thank you for listening to Day6. Day6 is a 5 member all vocal rock band(all members sing) and they all play instruments too. Day6 has an extensive discography and their base genre is rock so you'll always hear rock elements in their songs but they've done a wide range of genre on their albums. The members all compose and write lyrics, they're pretty well known for having great vocals and amazing lyrics so I think it'll be better to listen to the songs while reading the lyrics. The members are Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon with the first 4 being the main vocalists, Dowoon sometimes sings on other tracks since he's still training with his vocals. Jae lived in the US almost all his life and Young K studied highschool in Canada so the band has 2 fluent english speakers. Jae plays the electric guitar, Sungjin with the acoustic most of the time, Young K is the bassist while Wonpil plays the piano and synthesizers, and Dowoon plays the drum. I definitely recommend listening to their other albums thou personally it would be best to listen to them in the order of their releases but I think any order will do. The albums I'll recommend however are Shoot Me: Youth Part 1, Sunrise, Moonrise, and their Japanese album Unlock. Honestly their Japanese releases are all amazing so definitely check every single one of those. Thanks again for listening to Day6! the first song had all 5 members singing in it! dowoon is their drummer, maknae, and he started with day6 without any vocal training but hes been getting more practice and parts in songs! jae is the oldest but sungjin is their leader with the raspy voice both guitarists, youngk is one of the ones whos vocals u were praising and he has one of the widest ranges in the industry plus their bassist! wonpil with his clear falsetto is their synth and keyboardist! they're a super talented group that composes, writes all their own songs, and plays their instruments. this is the first time a jyp boy group has been able to top charts in YEARS and im so glad u could react to this album!! entropy is a very diverse album from them and you should def check it out ^^

I had similar reactions to Tick Tock (really loved the tick tock part), Love me or Leave me (the drop pleasently surprised me), and 1 to 10 (thought it was better than stop and it definitely grew on me the more I listened).

The thing with DAY6 songs is that you need to read the lyrics. The lyricism in this album is EXQUISITE. The members are actually currently going through a rough patch in terms of their mental state and have been told to cancel all promotions for this album. The fact that they wrote this album about their current struggles is honestly really touching.
I'm really sorry I didn't read any lyrics during my reaction! I promise I'll try to have lyrics ready in my next album reactions! Everyone tells me they're amazing 🙏 And I'm honestly so upset they're not feeling well mentally right now. I just want them to be happy and well cause they deserve nothing less! I really appreciate the dedication to a full album listen! It's usually easier to do smaller clips. I also really like that you just listen to audio. So many reactions to music videos just focus on what they're seeing in the video and not the sound. I think MyDays have a big culture around focusing on the music so that's nice to see :) I would recommend watching their performances on radio shows FOR SURE! You get the advantages of really clear live vocals/instruments and no background noise. I so agree with you that sometimes it takes atleast a few listens for you to appreciate the song. Cuz it also took me at least three listens to vibe with Zombie. This album is a masterpiece. What I got from this album is that they have some very poppy songs like Day & Night and then they have more of their rocky songs like STOP and 1 to 10. To me 1 to 10 and Afraid sound like very Day6 songs- so they’re the songs that sound the most like what Day6 would do. And the more rocky songs are also more like Day6 but I really like the other songs tho cause I haven’t really heard much like that from them :) I kinda prefer the more rocky songs but tick tock and day & night are 2 of my favourite songs from the album. But Day6 do have a reputation for always making amazing songs-

Day6 is a 5 member all vocal rock band(all members sing) and they all play instruments too.
Day6 has an extensive discography and their base genre is rock so you'll always hear rock elements in their songs but they've done a wide range of genre on their albums.
The members all compose and write lyrics, they're pretty well known for having great vocals and amazing lyrics so I think it'll be better to listen to the songs while reading the lyrics.
The members are Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon with the first 4 being the main vocalists, Dowoon sometimes sings on other tracks since he's still training with his vocals. Jae lived in the US almost all his life and Young K studied highschool in Canada so the band has 2 fluent english speakers.
Jae plays the electric guitar, Sungjin with the acoustic most of the time, Young K is the bassist while Wonpil plays the piano and synthesizers, and Dowoon plays the drum.
I definitely recommend listening to their other albums thou personally it would be best to listen to them in the order of their releases but I think any order will do. The albums I'll recommend however are Shoot Me: Youth Part 1, Sunrise, Moonrise, and their Japanese album Unlock. Honestly their Japanese releases are all amazing so definitely check every single one of those.
