I do indeed! Personally I wouldn’t use anything else. Although it is a bit pricey when you add everything you need. For example the shock mount if you have a phone with optical stabilisation in the camera. I learnt that one the hard way! 😅 But it’s defo worth it
@@watsonsbikes I would also be interested in the setup you are using for the mount as I haven't seen many options for the fork stem mount which I assume you're using due to location.
@ClarksonsCars When I got my bike, it already had one of the yolk nuts with the whole in. So it was just a case of getting the standard fork stem mount from quad lock. I also got the shock mount, wireless charging mount and 12v to USB Smart Connector. The Smart Connector wires run where the rest of the loom runs attached to the frame under the tank. Then through into the battery housing. Anything else you want to know, I’d be happy to help! ☺️
@@watsonsbikes I did buy it crashed I know exactly how much they cost 🤦 and couple weeks ago I had low speed fall no chance to get plastics 😭 I working with fiber glass and body filler to get it back 😞 whole bike will be re sprayed.
PAIR or SAI system whichever depending which forum you read. Basically to pass emissions it feeds fresh air back into the exhaust side when you come off throttle to burn up any residual fuel hence the pops and bangs. There are blanking kits to delete the system.
Sorry I missed this comment! I agree with @ClarksonsCars. My old bike (mt09) had the exact same thing. I was happy with how it sounded, but can defo be sorted if it bothers you
Today on my Sprint ST1050 I replaced the Cam chain and adjusted the valves. also cleaned the valves PAIR, there was a lot of soot in it, and after cleaning the backfire became more frequent. But it doesn't bother me. Just an observation. the cleaner the ecology, the more frequent the firing, if you silence it, it will not fire.
Nice little blast out dude, keep up the good work. Best wishes from the Lone Wolf in the lakes. 🕊
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Hi, do you use quad lock for telephone support? Thanks

On the same bike :) It's a great bike as long as you don't need parts they are so hard to get :( I have GS 1200 as well.
So good! For me, the best all rounder for the price! Agreed about the parts though. I had to spend £75 recently on two tiny plastic parts!

I have the same bike, mine pops and backfires a lot on deceleration. Any thoughts on this?
