Great song. A coupla years back he told me he was working on a DVD collection of his videos. I hope it comes out soon... especially for this song's vid.
Back in 1979/80 Joe put on one of the two greatest shows I've ever seen. His live shows were as great as Bruce Springsteens and so much fun. Out of all his bands, this was my favorite lineup.
I first saw Joe at The Hot Klub in Dallas , in '82. The Clash were playing the next eve. , and Joe cracked jokes about' em all nite.Saw him w/ Brave Combo a few months later. Great show. I saw him play with his new band , Los Mexicubanos , in Puerto Vallarta, where he has a new restaurant bar , Nacho Daddy. I was just as surprised as you! This video is prob 80 or 81.
Hey Joe King fans - Joe just announced a reunion tour for June 2011 in Texas with the original Crowns. They're playing in Dallas @ Poor David's Pub, Austin @ Antone's, and San Antonio @ Sam's Burger Joint. Thought the fans would want to know!
cripes, thats when pop was fun, he was a right nut job, used to dance on the tables, i was going to marry the keyboard player, wonder what happend to her?
Asombroso. Who ARE these people who think Rock in Espanol is corporate bs. Joe King was doing it at the same time as Freddie Fender. Who said anything about the 80's. How bout the 70's. OF COURSE HER NAME is Kris cummings---Patoski's wife, amigos
Joe is the King.....memories of Joe in Austin in the late 80's, and he's still here playing occasionally....
Great moemories! Joe King played at my brothers' wedding reception in our backyard in Austin - awesome!
Thanks for posting! I saw Joe a few times in the 80s. My wife and I are not dancers, but we spent the whole show hopping up and down like pogo sticks!
great vid, thanks. I was a big fan in the 80's and saw them a bunch of times, really GREAT shows.
This music can bring a dead person to life!,...love joe king's music!

Ah Jeeze, I always loved Joe because he was one of the few "cool" bands that would acturally come and play in Amarillo, Texas in the early '80s.
Very cool! I haven't heard this in years.
Woaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Never seen 'em! Thank you so much!!!
west side San Antonio sound was a little early for me (born 1968 to the South side by Highlands High School), but it still works LOL
Man, I dig the way that keyboardist shakes her tail feather as she sings the chorus!!!
