Thanks for the great video, I’ve just made 4 this afternoon and will be part of a display for Remembrance Sunday in November to be made by the craft group which I attend at my local library in North Yorkshire. (I will be making more! It’s a big display!) 🧶❤️😍🕊
Thank you , quick easily, clearly explained . Making one for my daughter , who will wear it on Sunday while she plays last post, at 2 remembrance services ,followed at another one on Monday at Avon & Somerset HQ Portishead 😊
Thank you so very much for this lovely poppy video. I had an easy time watching you and fallowing along. I made a purple poppy with cotton yarn and used a 4.5 mm clover hook. I'm gonna wear it next to a red poppy. Veterans Day is an extra special day for me. My mum's birthday. I miss her so much. I'm English but living in California. Thanks again, Katherine
Just want to encourage you, you are a wonderful teacher, It's the first tutorial that I have watched that Is very detailed, so helpful, I think I would be able to make this poppy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Valerie. 😊
Hi Alison 👋 , Thank you so much for sharing, I have watched many tutorials for poppies and yours is by far the superior and more realistic ,thank you again, 😊 ...... I'm a newby to crochet and find this easy to follow ....... ❤ I will give the leaf a go 👍 xx
Lovely poppy - a little more work than my simple version but you make it look very easy and being in the UK I’m pleased you used UK terms👍😊 Certainly going to give it a go! Our village school is asking us to make poppies for their poppy wall on Remembrance Day so I’ve shown 2 friends how to crochet them, much much easier than the knitted version!
Thank you Alison for this lovely tutorial so beautifully explained, both visually and with the does and don't mentioned. Luv that King Cole yarn and your unboxing tutorials such good quality yarn. Do you do knitting tutorials? as I'm looking to find a technique that is faster. I knit right handed holding the yarn in my right hand, i find this way difficult as when i crochet my left hand holds the yarn. Will have a look at your other videos again.
This another project I have on my list love you. Currently iam doing a single crochet from the back Cowell. I am currently working on a sunflower blanket but I need t take a break before I join the cssquares together
