for me the best scene of the series was when Russ Hanneman was smashing doors on car in front of Richard and was angry because they are not gullwing doors or butterfly doors, they just open like on normal non-billionaire's car:D
Ha, such a good scene. And as anyone that works in an office knows..how easy a meeting can go off the rails into something else entirely rendering the meeting useless.
Churros McChurros you just watched this epic comedy scene and all you could think about was...meetings? And how they can go off the rails? You need a new job my friend, with better co-workers
Janardhan Pashupati I think you’re missing the point. Churros was just saying how easily going off the topic or the point of the meeting when someone brings up something making everyone forget what the meeting is about
oh wow, just realized that even though Dinesh and the boys encouraged the discussion which ultimately led to Richard's genius algorithm - it was ACTUALLY Jared's utterance of the term "middle-out" that sparked the idea in Richard's head! Synergy and inspiration at its best!
I saw an interview of the Denish guy and he said the SV writers went to MIT to have the calculations done. The white board equations on the show are the actual equations they came up with
I assume everyone's dick placement is lower than their hips, so you'd have to take that into consideration. But then you would need the average difference in hip height of 800 guys, and that's a lot in this situation, especially considering they have 10 minutes to not only jerk off the 800 guys, but also maximize the D2F variable to expedite how many dicks they could jerk per minute. You would need a lot of bodily averages to count the D2F in that situation, because only having your own D2F isn't enough to maximize the 800 guys.
@@MattyDingus What if they give water bottles to each guest with a viagra dissolved in it? Flaccid problem solved, and mean jerk time potentially reduced.

Every scene is a master piece in this series. Hats off to the creativity of writers. What I feel is ending should have been scripted better. They didnt really have to tear down the entire compression algorithm just because it became so damn powerful to override the decryption algorithms. It did have lots of usecases and videochat was one such usecase.
yea but eventually someone else down the line would try and merge the compression algorithm with an AI and they might be greedy enough to not care. Middle out compression was already cracked by others so its no longer private. They had to make it seem like it was a massive fail to keep others from even trying it.
I know its kinda late but anyway, I think the fact that Richard lost the usb means that he is the only one not to use the tech that he created. Dinesh and Gilfoye start a cyber security company and Monica works for NSA. They all use the algorithm in their own way. Though i do agree with you, the finale/ending could have been better than that, just felt like it lacks of something and incompleted in some ways.
Do people really code listening to dubstep or loud electronic music? I know I don't. Coding for hours is tiring, need every bit of concentration I can get. Also, this show was genius.
Personally If I know what I need to code like a basic weird code then music wouldnt be a problem but in case of designing algorithms the music can be very distracting.
@Marlinchen you can code to almost anything without lyrics. At least I can. I sometimes can't think and get distracted easily, if there is no background noise. I need a minimum input of steady background noise to focus over long periods of time for some reason. Nothing that stops and starts, but more like something continuous. For this very reason, I have a lofi playlist with no lyrics, but I have also coded to rwr sounds of a F/A 18 F on a 1 hour loop.
I need loud, abrasive music to drown out that asshole who wants to constantly think of something else. Although thats more of the coding part, when Im creating the main idea, I do it in silence
