There is no official studio version of this song released. It was written for his first album but didn’t make it on to the record although the studio version recently got leaked so you could listen to that if you wanted to.
From what has been written about Harry, it is said that he is a Musicophile and is very knowledgeable about a variety of music and seems to be introducing elements of Classic Rock, Country, R & B and Jazz to create his version of Pop-Rock. In his residency at MSG, seems he's introducing a horn section on stage, too. While he's not highly proficient on any instrument, he does most of the lyric writing, some of the melodies, a lot of the background harmonies in studio and guides how he wants the music to sound. I think he will continue to evolve as a musician/singer since the three albums he has produced all has a different flavor. For context - I'm a much older fan of his music and been to two concerts.
from what I understand, he does most of the melodies, maybe not chord progressions een though I'm pretty sure it's a collaborative process but lyrics and melodies are his, because in my mind it's what goes together very closely
1st time he sang this live he acted very shy and hardly moved. By at. Paul MN one of the best videos of him singing this, he was relaxed and with it and into it! Response was amazing. He sings it now at almost every show when the audience begs!!!!
First time he practically mumbled the lyrics and said “I mess around with them” probably because he didn’t know how fans would react to him suggesting he isn’t straight. He now proudly sings “I mess around with HIM and I’m ok with it” while gesturing giving a guy a blow job. This is not a bi anthem, only some fans think of it that way. As Harry said “bi, me? I’m pretty sure I’m not”.
He has not officially released this song . He only performs it live sometimes. A studio version was leaked early this year.

Yes it was St. Paul in Minnesota. It was my concert, I was there and saw this live. So good! It was never a studio version recorded song, he only did it live on tour.
He was seriously on fire that night.

Fun fact there will never be a release version off this song cause technically it's a cover even tho he wrote it cause he gave it to someone else , however he does this song only at his concerts because it juat for the true fans , he goes back and forth between this song and fine lines at each concert
Over the European summer harry performed at Wembley stadium twice (90 000 fans per night), as part of his 2022 tour. Will perform his 12th (out of 15) at Madison square garden this week. Austin, Chicago and Los Angeles (not sure of the order). I can't wait to see him when he plays in Australia (feb/march 2023).

The last credit on this video is Styles Tomlinson, so this is the sanctioned version, and, yes, Harry is 100% David’s and Mick’s lovechild with Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney as his godparents. That is canonically factual, and you got there without deep diving into every song. Bravo.
It's a bummer that there's not official studio recording, well there is but we don't have it (or do we?). So this was like the best version the fandom had for a long time, it's from 2017, why it has so many views. We have better quality videos nowadays of the song. Also, he doesn't want to disclose his sexuality to the public at the moment, so yeah that's that.
Everybody says the same about David Bowie and Mick Jagger. Harry doesn't ever talk about his sexuality and really keeps his private life private. He says he doesn't feel the need to label his sexuality. He has pretty much only been known to date women, so there's that, but he is very much an lgbtq ally if not part of that community. He is really just about being yourself unapologetically and creates an atmosphere at his shows of love and acceptance. He's definitely a class act and has remained so grounded throughout his career, especially given how young he was and how quickly 1D blew up. Their story is truly fascinating. Just a bunch of really genuine, down to earth guys.

He was given the womanizer, fuck boy, into older women reputation since he was 16 to probably hide that he isn’t sexually attracted to women. Even with all the bullshit he had to deal with he seems to have remained a sweet and grounded man.

This particular performance permanently changed everything I knew about my sexual preferences. My GOD I still get chills seeing this. The charisma in this clip oozes through the screen.

As to the meaning of the song, many fans have called it a bisexual anthem but there are other things the song can be about.
One of those things is the connection to the slang use of "boys and girls" referring to the combination of cocaine and heroine.
I'm not saying it's one or the other but Harry has mentioned drug references in several of his other songs so it isn't that far
off that it could be either of the two suggestions. It's not my favorite Harry Styles song either, it's fun but hardly the most

Totally agree with this. I don’t think it’s his best written song but it makes a statement about his fluidity and it rocks live. I hope he never releases a studio version but plays it live only for the fans for the next 50 years!
@@musicfangirl7403 I told a good friend at the time Harry first performed this song that he would save it and 'Oh Anna' for his live audiences. I love 'Oh Anna' and wish he would add that song to one of his lineups on his Love On Tour shows. Harry knows what he's doing, he's a very intelligent young man.

I disagree. It’s not about Harry Styles, the song is legitimately good, but there is no real clear audio. That’s the best you can get unfortunately.
