Which one offers more value without a subscription? It seems like Hearth is only useful if you continually pay monthly for something you shouldn't have to keep paying for.
@WeTriedIt No you don't. Hearth requires a monthly payment. Skylight does not. Monthly payment gets you the "upgrades". Standard features work without subscription. Can clearly tell who is paying you for this review. 😂
Thank you for your review, just ordered the skylight, we’re big on meal prepping and think that’s feature sold us, love the family friendly features on the Hearth though, hope skylight upgrades that feature soon.
The video seemed to show you tapping multiple times on the Hearth screen before it responded, indicating it was laggy. (I saw it twice, at 2:41 and at 7:25.) Did I see that correctly?
Thank you for the video. I currently have the smaller skylight and it lags tremendously. To the point it’s not even worth using. Did you notice this with the skylight at all? That being said I’m looking into the hearth calendar and I have a few questions. Is there a limit to the number of profiles you can have. (I have 8 kids so if I add mom and dad it’s 10 people total)? Is there a limit to the number of chores/routines I can add? Can I assign AND edit chores easily assigned to more than one child? Can I choose what order the chores appear on the lists?
Neither deserve a spot on my wall. Monthly subscriptions can kick dirt. Might as well get a touch screen display and configure an open source Linux distribution to do everything these can do and more.
Do you know what the biggest font size is for them? Looking to use for elderly Mom. Also, so they need an outlet my it or how often do you have to charge it please? Thank you

You really need to pay monthly for either.
Thank you for this, gave me clarity
You never really own it then. Capital cost should be so much lower
Well that’s dumb

Awesome, let me know what you think!!!

It super responsive. That was an issue with my angle of trying to film and touch for the side. No lagginess if you are using it normally.
Hearth takes a few seconds to load. I don't like that.
Do either of them have an audible alarm?
4:35 phew boy. They’re both around $300 now
Thanks, that's all I need to know
Where are you finding them for $300?
@@CrayZfuNN001
Amazon. Way too expensive for what you get
That’s what I came to find out? Where is the hearth for $499?!???
Thanks for this! Did you not try the skylight calendar in vertical mode?
No, but it’s the same functionality
Anything you wanted to know?
How did you get power to your wall mounted calendar? We don’t like the visible cord of the skylight.

Did you have a wall socket installed so there are no wires?
I ran a wire through the wall and installed a plug on the inside of the closet (what’s behind the wall).
I want no subscription but want to show a picture when it’s not used
Monthly payments on these things are RIDICULOUS when you are already spending so much for the devices.
Idk what you say some of the time

This probably isn't the right fit for you. :) This is all about targeting people like my wife, who is a proud technical laggard.
What do you think about eco show 21 in comparison
I just don't like how the Echo Show constantly scrolls different tiles/ads/suggestions. It's very distracting.
