I just had the extreme pleasure to see Karla last week in Clearwater Florida in an intimate setting at Ruth Eckerd Hall Murray Theater. I went with my wife and an old friend we hadn't seen in 20 years. It was a magical evening on so many levels. Karla's voice is as beautiful and resonant as it was all these years ago. Her talent and her soulfulness were on full display. There was an incredible amount of love in the room. We were blessed to be there and to listen to her body of work as a songwriter and singer. An incredible talent and beautiful songwriter and performer. Her voice is as good as it ever was. No BS. I'm still enthralled from the experience. What a gift to be there.
