Kenny is a pickin' legend!

Michael Dearing's return on bass to the Stacey Michhardt band was the best career move for Stacey. He had a few different players come in on bass. Not good, at all. The last one could not strike a note on a downbeat and it affected the sound of the band adversely. I recall the crowds were beginning to dwindle over at B.B. Kings. I'm just happy to see the core of the band back together. Darin on Drums has been in the role for as long as I can remember. There are no better drummers in Nashville as far as I am concerned. Stacey Mitchhardt is the best in all of Nashville Blues.

I just had the extreme pleasure to see Karla last week in Clearwater Florida in an intimate setting at Ruth Eckerd Hall Murray Theater. I went with my wife and an old friend we hadn't seen in 20 years. It was a magical evening on so many levels. Karla's voice is as beautiful and resonant as it was all these years ago. Her talent and her soulfulness were on full display. There was an incredible amount of love in the room. We were blessed to be there and to listen to her body of work as a songwriter and singer. An incredible talent and beautiful songwriter and performer. Her voice is as good as it ever was. No BS. I'm still enthralled from the experience. What a gift to be there.

Fantastic! I really admire how much these guys love to entertain, love to have fun , always give a good show and how they embody respect for and knowledge of their craft.

The best song ever

I used to go see Stacy and his guys perform down at Bourbon Street all the 20 or so years I lived in Nashville. Great musician and a great guy, too. Nashville is not just a country music town and guys like Stacy definitely prove that to be true.

One of my favorite bands, my wife and I have saw Marty and his band twice @ the Bijou Theater in Knoxville,Tn. We also attended his Late Night Jam @ the Ryman in Nashville several times, just a great band and great musicians. I hope he plays again @ the Bijou soon, we will be there, also we love staying in the Smoky Mts.

I've been to three or four of Marty and his Super boys performances over the years. I used to love their RFDTV Television Program each week too.

Saw this guy and his band a couple times at the Kalamazoo Blues Festival. The last time he played the festival,he played a after hours shows at a local bar and really blew the roof off like this.He is a awesome bluesman and entertainer.

Underrated

Grady Martin provided awesome riffs. But Jack Pruett played that beautiful melodic guitar sound to Marty's songs. Jack was there from beginning till the very end. People focus on Grady Martin, but Jack was the rock that made the band sound so great.
