My partner and I have been here for three months exploring the city. Currently living in Miami area of the US, we are seriously discussing moving here permanently! Love it here and love your videos.
Thank you! You have me hooked on Valencia! I live in Phoenix, AZ and my husband and I are going to visit Valencia next year. We are thinking of leaving the US and Valencia is one of our choices. Thank you for making these awesome videos so we can actually visualize what Valencia is all about!
Antoanetta, I first heard about Valencia about 2012 when visiting Santiago De Compostela from my AirBnB host. He was tired of the cold and gray weather of the northwest and longed for places warmer. I asked this fellow, a native Galician, where was his favorite place in Spain and where he would want to live if he wasn't in this chilly corner of the country. His response surprised me- Valencia! And that put it on the map for me. He seemed well traveled and well read, and that was my first introduction to this city I had never heard of before. Your great videos have definitely shortlisted Valencia for me! Keep up the good work.
Thank you for introducing us to Valencia. We had a lovely stay when travel recommenced, loved every minute and this year we're coming back. What you're sharing adds so much depth to our enjoyment of Valencia. Please have a treat on us!
antonetta you are so beautiful and all my family love you and we waiting always the next video .. im very enjoying how you are discribing the city and the quality of life there ...we visited valencia many times and we love it so much ..but with you we love it even more..thank you
Como valenciano,me siento orgulloso de ti. Te queremos . Q buena energía respecto a Valencia. Eres realmente especial, como la ciudad,ya eres valenciana ,de factor y de corazón.
Antoanetta my husband and I love your videos. We visited Valencia back in 2018 and had a super groovy time. Got tipsy with some local painters (house painters) in a small tapas bar in El Cabanyal. Walked everywhere, ate great food and laughed out loud. We are now planning on retiring in the Valencia area, this year.
My wife and I agree with you. We were in Valencia with our adult children last September. We liked it so much, we are gong to be there for the last two weeks of September. We are also going to look at some properties. We hope to retire there. Maybe we will see you around Valencia.
Great video! We have family in Valencia for school, and you’ve reinforced our good feelings about Valencia & it’s benefits. We’ll be there this winter, hope to see you!
This Steve, I want to sincerely thank for you vlogs which I’ve watched since February and I am in Valencia looking for a property to buy. Your vlogs have motivated and inspired me so much. Today I rented a bike and went via RUSSAFA, Gran Via, Turia, El Cabanyal,The Beach and back to Estacion Nord as I’m staying in Gandia. For 2 weeks I took Renfe for €12 return ticket. Not to mention the AVE high speed train 1.5 hours from Valencia to Madrid to visit my friends/manager. Again thanks for your inspiration. Unfortunately I don’t have Gran Via nor Ave Regne De Valencia budget but damn what a beautiful area.
Tomorrow will visit a top floor apartment in Ciutat Vella 4th floor without lift. Mezzanine setup due to high ceilings with loft space. Very excited. Once I have the keys will invite 😂
My honest opinion, is that since you are an artist, you have a gift, and can can see the beauty on everything you you ser, or experiment. As well you can tell, what and who is genuine. I love and appreciate art, as well as history. Everytime you upload a video, I know I will enjoy it, because you transmit that energy, and that that delight. I don't have to be there, to enjoy the awesome things that every city has to offer through you, through your videos, through your words. Thank you, yes thank you.
I am 4 weeks into a 5-week Spain "expedition." Spent 1 week in Barcelona, 1 week in Valencia......some time in Palma Mallorca, Malaga, Marbella, Bilbao and finally San Sebastian for the last 4 days. Previous trips included Seville, Cordoba, Granada, and Madrid. I can understand why you like Valencia, but for me, it just did not draw me in. I spent an entire day looking at apartments with a realtor, but Valencia seemed off the mark for a few key things I ended up liking more in other Spanish cities, and some things you mentioned did not seem as appealing to me, and the way I would utilize them if I did live in Valencia. San Sebastian has knocked my socks off so far. However, I must admit I am looking for a secondary summertime city and one that is cooler than my primary home in Orlando, FL. San Sebastian is beautiful in the summer, and the weather is much nicer. I would not be a fan of San Sebastian if I had to live the winters in Spain, and that is for sure (a bit too cold and grey). I wish San Sebastian was not so darn expensive in the areas I would purchase because I would write a check tomorrow in this beautiful city. My favorite 3 cities are San Sebastian, Madrid, and Seville. Barcelona and Valencia are also very nice.
So glad we call this city our home now! It's really a hidden gem and as much as we'd like to keep it to yourselves, people will eventually find out about this beautiful place 😍👍😍
Your videos are by far the nicest and most informative! I am thinking of moving/retiring in Valencia. Although you are much, much more younger, I would love to know your thoughts on single woman from the USA moving to Spain alone and your recommendations. Thank you for all of your lovely videos … you always cover so many interesting topics and love when you film your meals. How about cost of beauty salon/hair/nails, etc.
Hi, Antoanetta! Just discovered your channel today and I'm kinda binge-watching your videos about Valencia 😂❤ I will be moving there in September to study a master's, so your content is super helpful, and also VERY well done... thank you! :)
I liked it so much I bought a flat in arracapins! Love your videos , and very much agree with you. Took 3 days for me to fall in love with Valencia. I retire in 2.5 years and hope my wife and kids can call Valencia home for a few years.
Hello! , I’ve been following your channel for a while and I really really like your content , thanks to your videos I’ve gotten to know Valencia. Im seriously considering moving from Miami Florida to your city, keep it up looking forward to more😊

I love when you ordered your Horchata drink in Spanish, like a local, wow👍💯 By the way, up until 31st July anyone can travel free on metro valencia, so it is your chance 2 visit landmarks like the Xll century (if l am not mistaken) morish Tower in Torrente / Torrent, etc.
Suggestion: Go to Els Sariers for orxata (Machado metro station), and try orxata with ice cream. And you forgot a hidden characteristic of Valencia 3/4 of the population read music, and marching bands are the best of the world, having a valencian musician almost every pro orchestra in the world.
I think you're right that it's missed by many people. We breezed through in a single day and really should have stayed for a bit. Good reason to come back I guess!

It´s almost a month that I follow your videos, beacuse I live in this city and I am courious to listen other people´s thoughts and experiences or to discover something I do not know :) and except for few small nuances (but at the same time, some our opinions are not the truth) your videos are accurate and lovely to listen and to watch. But Valencia is not so "underrated" being the 3rd city most visited in Spain ;) or as much has a head-to-head with Sevilla and perhaps Granada. And yes, it is a safe city and good place for families as well. Unfortunately the general prices have grown quite much and quickly in the latest few years even if , for lot of expats could still be economic in same ways 👋
El encanto y la belleza de Valencia es único. Valencia no debe convertirse en Madrid, ni en Barcelona. Esta ciudad llena de carácter y belleza, la contempla día tras día. Viva Valencia.💖

According to official data, Valencia is below the average of green areas per capita in Spain. Knowing the city, it is difficult to understand why Valencia is considered deficient in green areas. The city's relatively low pollution is mainly due to the wind regime. There is an almost constant breeze from the sea, which makes the city quite ventilated. Valencia is the second city with the most Erasmus students in the European Union, only behind Granada. It is indeed a very suitable city for students. It has a mix of moderate prices, good infrastructure and a not very big city size.
I feel like the only country that seems to really know Valencia as a top destination are the Dutch! There’s so many Dutch tourists all year long. Next seems to be British and German? But not sure about that
