Excellent tips man. Definitely called out a lot of people at 0:20 (including myself 😂) That pistol spin is amazing, I think it deserves a tutorial of its own.
This is perfect for me! As I just got my first clone Wars figures and vintage collection figures after years of waiting. Can't wait to start animating!
Salute to you brother. 3.75 Star Wars figures are the pinnacle of Star Wars collecting. Enjoy your figures, looking forward to seeing those stopmotions!
Hell yeah I’m a total poser!!! You can make a stopmotion rig out of anything, I just used what I had lying around. With your level of creativity you’ll have no trouble making a rig.
Just a quick question Could you possibly make a video on how to make one of the LEGO camera mover or one like it that would be super helpful and appreciated
@@jurassicwars missed opportunity but you can have second chances Learned a lot about this, I actually need to revitalize my vids. My job: Hello there. Me: I have a bad feeling about this My channel: Aoki, I don't feel so good.
Excellent tips! 👍 I never thought about using a Lego piece to give a smooth camera movement. I just installed couple of wheels on a jenga wood block. 😄 I'll consider on purchasing a few Lego blocks and wheels.
Your best bet is shooting your video in 12 fps and then turning the playback speed to 24fps and selecting all your frames and pause them 2 times. That way you shoot 12 frames but can play them back in 24 fps. If that makes sense
Great video! I have a couple questions that you might be able to help with. How do you stabilize your figures when animating? And how do you add in your FX? Thanks! Very helpful video!
Stabilizing your figures is quite simple, I use 2 different methods: figure stands (as long as they don’t show up on camera) or blue tack. And for effects is use Adobe after effects. I’m working on a template for everyone of my subscribers so they don’t have to pay for super expensive editing programs!
Sometimes filming is only half the battle, finding sound effects and voice lines to fit your video can be even harder. Not to mention sometimes you have to add effects.

You know what, you’re the 2nd person to ask me that today. I think I may have to
This is amazing Jurassic, this will help me with my stop motions!!
Something important, the FPS, in some situetions you can acelerate them, that´s makes more impact in the acction
That is very true as well. I often mix and match frame rates throughout my videos
You know a video is gonna be good when it starts with "Hello there."
It would’ve been better if it continued with: “general Kenobi”

Indubitably

You’re most welcome!
Sometimes filming is only half the battle, finding sound effects and voice lines to fit your video can be even harder. Not to mention sometimes you have to add effects.
That is an excellent point Charlie! Sounds/effects can also make or break your animation. Personally sound design is my favorite part of editing.
What stop motion rigs do you use in your videos to have good movements.
Helllo?
I’m going to include them in a future video but I don’t have any actual rigs. I mostly use wire, or blue tack
@@jurassicwars okay, thank you.
I wish they'd do a more articulated figure of me! Nevertheless, this was SUPER amazing.
We desperately need some more female action figures in the vintage collection! Customs are cool but I want the real deal!
Have you tried animating with 6 inch figures?
I don’t collect 6 inch, I do have a few anime figures in 5 inch scale though
I took your advice it’s not too good but the first video on my channel you can see the Stop Motion I did my best and thanks for the tips
One more question how do you edit the lasers
I’m glad you asked, I’m working on a blaster fire template for my subscribers so they don’t have to buy expensive/ fancy editing software
Im taking all your advices
You just got promoted
GREAT!!! THANK YOU!!
