- This Is day 2 of search for Johnny Lee Thompson Jr, missing from Independence, Missouri since July 6, 2019. We started scanning the Kansas and Missouri river using sonar technology and located 5 vehicles but none were Johnny’s.
Thompson was last seen leaving a friend's house in Independence, Missouri on July 6, 2019. He apparently had a heated discussion with someone on the phone before he left. He has never been heard from again.

The police sure doesn't seem like they care if anyone is in the vehicle at all. Most of these cases would not get solved without people like you guys. God bless you all for what you are doing.

Its a good thing that you guys report these things because it doesnt sound like unless it solves a case, they are real concerned about it. But you guys have done your due diligence and can have a clear conscience over this. For the family in thus case, im sorry this doesnt solve it, but as with all these cases, we never stop searching.

It's more than likely insurance fraud, or someone was messing around in their jeep.

How to dump a vehicle off the back of a boat if no boat ramps around , or oops fell off the tethers under a big helicopter. Thinking outside the box to avoid the cameras.. Best police response so far guys Ahh Yeahh

They dont seem concerned at all about anyone in the jeep. I mean who dumps a jeep with windows up a d doesnt claim it on their insurance unless its stolen. But then again if its stolen a d they want to dump it they would roll the windows down so it sinks faster. Cant wait till part 3

I don't think I have ever seen as big a mess up as that police department did with the information they were given. Heaven forbid there had been an emergency. The river is dangerous. You guys need to tether yourself down to something on shore in water like that. I'm a mom and I worry about you guys. Safety first. Keep up the good work. God Bless you and be safe.

It feels frustrating to watch the work you put in to search ,dive on the vehicles report them to then see them left there , especially when windows are up , no reports coming back as stolen, to not know if their is a potential missing person left down there or not ,

Wow! I’ve seen laid back cops before, but this bunch really take the cake! Seems like they really don’t care one way or the other about that Jeep. Almost too bad you couldn’t have gone back down when visibility was better to try to get some answers.

Completely respect what you do but there’s many people who don’t have a lot of family or mates that could of been suicidal that could of killed them self and it wouldn’t of been reported cause no one would know

For future reference with the helicopters, downloading a flight radar app will tell you what they are and who is operating them, 9 times out of 10. If the police keep not taking you seriously with the Jeep, I would attempt to break windows & clear it.

I'm trying to understand what you guys are doing. Are you only looking for people in vehicles... or helping clean up the environment? If you have the ability to remove a vehicle and it poses risks.... wouldn't that be the "Adventure"? Clearly you're not search and recovery... only search.
