@@Kibzdabibz a low launcher is when a character does a low attack and then they get a follow up juggle or screw attack. I don’t know exactly what it’s called in Tekken eight but they can basically do a combo off of a low move. Check me out too please

In red ranks ive found people are very punish hungry and when youre -5 after something like a 123, the opponent often tries for a 10frame punish and the parry hits more than half the time I put it out. once you land it a couple times its a nice tool that prevents them mashing out their fastest punish after every combo, it adds some mental frames and slows the game down a bit so you can lay on the pressure more comfortably.

I am pretty good at offense, but as soon as people pressure me i find I don’t really have a strategy to get out of it. I sometimes copy what I see you doing but I don’t always know why you’re doing it so I may not be using the move correctly if that makes sense
I think I’ll do some matchup specific guides at some point, and since pressure tools vary from character to character, I think it makes more sense to include it there. But generally you can use parries to escape pressure, panic moves like d2,3 or sidestepping etc.
what makes me sad about law is that if they made it so that you could only have perfect frame advantage on dss if you used the legacy input, it would change NOTHING for casual players but would make the character instantly a thousand times more interesting and engaging as he was on 7. for example, if ws4 dss would be at maximum +14 on hit with simplified dss input (hold foward), but could reach +17 with legacy input (back foward, tap foward in time). also, make all dss moves blue spark but only with perfect input (so it's not everywhere everytime) doing additional damage and suddenly law is both a novice and expert level character, as he was back then. tell me, how many casuals would drop law if suddenly he lost 2 or 3 frames of advantage on dss? how many casuals even know wtf this means? 😅
It’s because some moves are steppable to one side but not the other, and the fact that when you are in crouch, you cannot step towards the screen only away from the screen. On player one side, you can therefore only step left when in crouch, and on player two side you can only step right. That’s why when a move forces you into crouch, like reinas f4, you are forced into either stepping left or taking a mixup on p1 side. So if she does a move that tracks to the left and not the right, she will catch you either it, because you cannot step in the correct direction. It’s a stupid unintended game mechanic that has been here for many many years.
Uf3+4 is a low, and when the attack connects it is not in an airborne state anymore, therefore it can be parried :) Or in this case low-parried. It like kings capital punishment (u1+2)
You can for sure do dss f1 here if you want and still get the wallsplat. It comes out at i14 just like dss*2 Just note that by doing dss*2 you’ll preserve your heat, where as if you are not in heat yet, dss f1 will force you into heat, which is fine Ofcourse if that’s what you’re aiming for :) so whatever floats your boat I suppose 😁👌🏻

there is no fake step on t8 back 1+2, where he fakes the step
Parry is nerfed too much and actually it not very useful - I would say it is rather accident when in heat/DC and that's all.

Many strings leave you -3 on block in DSS. Does this mean you only have 1 frame to parry? I can’t get it to work.
I don’t understand why you cannot step left on p2 side. Any chance you could explain like you would to a 5 year old :D

In heat means being receptive to mating.

Hey lambkin, what controller do you mainly use ? I am thinking of buying a new controller, my options are x box series and ps5 controller.
I use a ps5 controller and I’m very satisfied with it :)

I have never encountered anyone who would high poke Law. All of them dick jab to interupt Law, and i don't have enough plus frames to low parry.

Some air attacks are still parryable, good example being laws uf3+4 is still parryable. Not too sure if its a bug but its worth taking note of.

Not “Guaranteed” as they can sideroll left, but that’s the only option they have, and most aren’t aware
I can’t for the life of me get laws 3+4,4 after a successful parry. It’s strict on timing it has to be one of the hardest parries to get.
It’s not possible, they removed it back in season 2 of Tekken 7
