    Thanks, Barrie. We bought it on your advice and it's a dream. My wife and I are both entertained by the iron-loving-detractors whose criticism indicates a lack of sense around the comparsion: after set up you walk away and live life (while they are still ironing....!)
    The naysayers incorrectly focus on the time the machine runs for (and criticize the 2 mins it takes to apply straightening clips [as you are slowed down by talking us through it])..
    I wonder if they would apply this "logic" to the time it takes for dishwashers and washing machines...(again the set up is minutes and is regardless of the run time, unless you are watching it!).
    Bottom line is that to set up an iron and ironing board and then to iron 3 items (we put in a combo of dress, t shirts, trousers) takes longer than to "set up" the Tefal....and again..the 10 or 20 or 30 mins it runs for is irrelevant, as we are elsewhere! ( :
    Perhaps someone can post a video of them setting up and ironing 3 items, and looking less hassled...
    And the cost is irrelevant, as it is again like any appliance. For us it has already paid dividends as my wife has steamed and hung up several expensive dresses (in lieu of dry cleaning).
    Anyway. Thanks again!
    P.s my wife says that she will post too haha. No doubt the stockholm syndrome will ensure iron lovers will keep posting. Bless their cotton socks (and wrinkled shirts!).

    Jeez, you could have ironed a dozen pairs of jeans in that half hour, and saved yourself £700 in the process!

    My wife irons about 40 shirts perfectly in 20 mins. This is far, far away from brilliant... A good dryer can produce theese results.

      It is, they can’t, and I don’t have a Wife who irons for me

    To my mind a completely useless product. It takes me exactly 2 minutes to iron a shirt perfectly. This one is still wrinkled after 20mins! Plus putting weights on the fabric can't be that good either...

    • @BarrieCrampton
      @BarrieCrampton  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      How much do you think an iron weighs 😂 shirts are perfect, as are jumpers and jackets, brilliant bit of kit, worth its weight in gold👍

      @HausofKinney 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@BarrieCrampton The difference is, that the iron doesn't hang and tear the fabric down... If it works for you, it's great. I just expressed my opinion ;-)

      @HausofKinney neither do the weights,
