I have to same exhaust on my G8GT I made the same mistake putting it on and it hung down way to low. Flipped it and it’s fit perfectly. Love the sound of the solos
Is the text on your mid muffler facing down or up? And I have since removed the exhaust and put the Corsa back on. There was some weird vibration at certain RPM’s and idle and I just couldn’t get it to go away.
Idk I might take it to a shop this week to see if they can find anything. Idk if it was just user error or what, my Corsa didnt make any vibrations so idk what is going on with the Solo. If they cant figure it out I'll just sell it, might even be a connection with my headers who knows haha.

The Solo Kit has a mid muffler which may contain an X-pipe inside but I’m not sure. Normally X-pipes give you a higher pitched tone but the solo is more on the lower end.
My full setup is 1 3/4” SLP catted long tube headers + the Solo 3” catback. I plan on swapping everything out tho for the ARH 1 7/8” catless headers + 3” X pipe + 3” Solo Axle back. I miss the sound the X pipe gives off.
Congrats on getting rid of the trendy headlights.. Nothing like a person with an old car trying to make it look like it's a modern car by putting modern headlights. Now all you need to do is lose the tacky trendy tail lights.. trust me, it's not a good look anymore and never was.. After that, you can free yourself of becoming a sheep and remove all your Holden badges.. They look like little diecast tools to make cookies.. It's funny that people want it to be an import so bad they're willing to just lose sight of what the car really is.. When I see somebody with a Holden badge, I think to myself that they're trying way too hard to be cool.. And the badge itself looks like crap compared to a nice v.
I like the tail lights I have on it now, not a fan of the stock G8 tail lights. Also I prefer the Holden badge, I don’t think it makes me a “sheep” by having it on there. You might know what it is but majority of the folks in traffic and at car shows have never seen it before so I like people scratching their heads trying to figure out what it is.
I get it, they can flicker, there's led dots, ..etc, ... But its like the late 2000's when dudes where swapping out their taillights on trucks for the fake chrome look to make their 90s trucks look newer..... Pretty soon the only people with led after market tail lights, will be hood rats. And if that is what you want to accomplish ( having people wonder what the car is ) - why not go badge-less ? Its a nice car, but I like classy fast, not hood rat fast. Just dont get 10 different pieces in carbon fiber...... 🙃Or a large drag strip muscle car hood cowl....@@Tanner_Teves

Theyre only made for the US/Canada and a few South America market. Now tell me where does Jeep, dodge/ram, and Chrysler fall being owned by stellantis, a Netherland owned company. To throw a bigger curve ball how about acura? Acuras are designed, developed, and built in north America for over 25 years now but obviously owned by honda but NOT sold in Japan. So we have Toyota a Japanese owned and based company designing and building US/Canada market cars. American brand that is designed and built by Americans, but owned by overseas company. Lastly an American based company with cars built and designed in America but owned by Japanese company. G8/caprice/GTO/SS are designed,built, and sold in Australia but owned by GM. Answer those questions then tell us if the SS is an import or not. OR, just let people do what they want with their car. Not sure what “V” you’re even are referring to? The V in CTS-V or the two flags on the corvette which were originally crossed flags but now form a V?

Mine is facing down now. I first had it upside down.😂.

@@Mechanic83I ended up taking the exhaust off and took it to my shop to have them install it. Don’t feel any vibrations anymore!

I used the cerakote restoration kit
what headers with cats ur running ?

Technically these are imports. Just look at the vin. Made overseas in Australias holden factory then imported to the US.
And my I phone is an American company and product and technology , but it was made in China. Is it a Chinese import phone ?@@jdmrider
