As a guy who did cross country & track I gotta say it's so worth it to get the technique down. Good luck to everyone I'm working my way back too. I describe it as one day u feel so good running like you are falling forward at the same pace your running and ur rhythm is so precise it feels like your feet are smooth wheels then your body temp heats up and stabilizes with your breathing and got darn it your a real runner lol 😆. Gl everyone!
I agree, I can fall forward and run to keep myself from falling ( fast ) or I can just sorta jog and that's when I'm vertical doing the same thing only smaller strides and maybe foot doesn't come up as far off the ground by a 1cm or so. Thats how it feels anyhow. I agree with you though, if I lean forward its gonna be less then half the distance I cover before I'm pooped
It's chi running. that's all there is to it. efficient and lesser injury. and also be mindful of your foot landing. Midfoot or forefront strike is recommended. Think of it as not running but trying to catch yourself from falling.
For me, that's how I would differentiate jogging from running. With running, you're falling forward and catching up that fall. With jogging, there's no falling forward and more "upward" bouncing. My own interpretation. 😅
Not only is it better form to lean forward a little while running but it looks much cooler. The straight up posture while running looks incredibly dorky.
I was doing my first ACTUAL programmed running workout, and as soon as I learned the forward lean in the middle of my workout, my pace went from 8 to 10 miles an hour instantly, and I had to tone it back down.
Try walking backwards to alleviate lower back pain, normally lower back pain is from dominant tight quads that are over worked so stretching the quads and working the hamstrings, walking backwards, causes a rebalance to your leg muscles alleviating some tension on the hips tilting anteriorly which is typically the cause of most people's lower back pains, anterior pelvic tilt causes tight quadratus lumborum (lower back muscles)
Every time i run i start feeling tight and pain on the harmstrings and sometimes after practice my angle hurts it’s like 2/10 but it still bothers me what can i do to Fix it so i can run better
To solve the problem, you have three Options: 1. See a trainer or look for a training partner, to check for necessary technique corrections; 2. See a doctor, to check for necessary physical corrections; 3. Use a bike. Theres also a good chance, option 1 sends you to to option 2.
this technique hurts my knees, ankles, hips. the first one is more comfortable for me. I think everybody's skeletal mechanics is a little different for what's comfortable.
i do track and my running form is so out of place😂😂😂i still do good in both distance and sprint no matter how bad my form is though every part of my body hurts afterwards😂😂
😂😂 Just run the way God made you to run! It’s natural and too many people make it like it’s the hardest thing to do. Don’t think about it, just move and enjoy the day!🤣😎👍
This is how we’re supposed to run. Taking advantage of gravity to increase efficiency. You might not see why this is important and that’s completely fine, but runners who compete have to know how to run efficiently.
You’re wrong because we now know a lot of people cause injury to their knees by not running long distances correctly. It can be corrected by changing your form… 😊
Apparently running one hundred metres in ten ish seconds, nine ish seconds... Winning an Olympic gold medal is guaranteed prize money if inrseventyfivelakhs.. . And even if not getting a medal in the Olympics, indian national games gold medal is inrfivelakhs this year, 2023, up from inrfiftythousand last year.. . . And even if not winning medal, time is used up running, and so we did not make a nonbiodegradable thing in that time.. . . And for going distancrs, there is a stepper on wheels, mobile.. .. Just like there's a mobile bicycle like an exercise bike on wheels.. So i have a bicycle with handlebars at standing height, and the bicycle is like a stepper on wheels.. . Patent pending.. . 😁.. . And with some gears, we can really go distances in the same pedal.. .. But it's winter and we are hibernating.. . 2023_november_10_12_12_NN_IST.. . Just the thought of office work or going t the office makes me fall asleep.. .
No wonder I don't like running, I've been doing everything wrong
Next time try to lean forward
You walk like uncle 😂
And mid foot strike.
It's always uncomfortable to do wrong. We need to correct our mistakes so next time, we can enjoy exercises that we want to do.
I never could run, not because I was put off breath, but my shins hurt like hell. Apparently I was running wrong too 😂
Tempted to give it another shot
Would love to see more shorts like this!
They look comfortable

Michael Johnson made that upright style work out nicely though…
Not gonna lie.. while distant running I feel easier by running straight than leaning forward.. it feels like I'm running without forcing myself..

You shouldnt do anything too uncomfortable. Sometimes your form is better thank you think, you might be over leaning
Little to no core strength leads to this.
Completely agree
Awesome now i know it. Thanks coach.
thanks sa tips
I have 3 questions:
1. Why is my knee aching after 5 km
2. What should I land? Is it the heels, balls?
3. Is some twisting okay? (from the waist)
For number 2
You should land your feet in mid/forefoot landing
@@kaymnorayn Alright
balls? I think that gotta hurt 😳
humans should either walk or sprint, not run. Ever seen a wilde horse jogging, it's ridiculous
@@lax1992good thing we aren’t wild horses

I knew a dude in the marines that ran a sub 20 min 3 mile with the first form. Didnt even break a sweat either
Yea to be honest these "form" videos are overrated. You get better at running by running. Just put your foot in front of the other lolz
Beautiful place ❤
Oh thats what it isss. Ive been wondering why my classmate’s run looks odd and its THIS. THANKS. Its been bothering me not knowing 🙏
Thanks for Finally i got it .. Thnx a lot
I Liked Running Morning DAy Will I See Conditon This Day
Lean a bit closer to the ground if u want to sprint faster but u will lose ALOT of stamina

His arms. As I understand it, the hands should be higher, rising to the lower chest before falling
Im getting lower pain in my back and I believe Im doing exactly what you show in the video
i also had pain in my lower back but i also think i might be leaning to much when i run

Beautiful location
Thanks from Sintra Lisboa Portugal 👌
i agree with you
Is there too much in the trunk? His arms are down swaying? And his elbows seem out? I think he's not using mid foot.
We fall from hips, not lean from ankles #posemethod
Just started running and can only do 8mins due to shin splints any tips would be appreciated please
I did this and fell on my face
Damn

Body too straighten can cause lower back pain, I see now why
Music name?
Why are you running??
Nice music brother 😊

I would love to do this but it’s the same both times

Kya mujhe koi batayega ki isme aur usme kya farak hai 😢

Nobody runs like the 1st clip bro
Actually I thought you’re supposed to run with perfect posture
I do 🥴
@@mattsb5196 yeah this was educational for me .
@@soooooooooooooooyou are, you run with a tilt for the speed boost, then run straight
I do.. I love it.. I love maintaining straight posture. Probably not fast enough but I enjoy. My target is not pace.

You are still not correct no offense
+1
Shin splints😣
No such thing as correct running form
It depends on individual runner
All run differently according to body mechanics
Na knees arent getting high enough
Wrong arm technique
Hands are so Wrong holden
the more upward Tom Cruise running for your life style has more personality though, running just to run is so boring
Theres about 1mm difference 😂😂😂😂😂😂
not correct
Lol bro wrong way
Londo
Даже эта техника не совсем правильная
poor mechanics here tbh
🤣 promosm
