I'm surprised you find that surprising haha! That was always the instrument I heard this song being played with in my head. Thanks though! I might do Bubble Crab next. I haven't decided, there are quite a few I'm interested in taking on.
Man, your interpretations are a blast. My wife just shakes her head whenever i start watching videos like these, but it feels very rewarding finding good video game music covers.
Thank you! There will be more content soon. The channel has been on a bit of a hiatus due to original music ventures, but there will most definitely be more content. Sooner rather than later.
So freaking cool how authentic this sounds! Do more mega man X 🙌🏻
I never expected to hear a melodica used for a MMX cover and sound decent. What are you, some kind of sorcerer?
Haha!! Glad you liked it. Not a sorcerer, just a man on a mission :)
I always loved how the beats sounded like hitting a crystal with a stick. You got it just the way I imagined!
Surprised how well the xylophone fits with the composition, nice!

@@VoxburghRecordings Well, in the original song from X2, it had a vibraphone instead of a xilophone. Perhaps he means that?

NICEEE 👌🏼
It's amazing how you still manage to get a midi sound still. True to form instrumental choice, and mixing.

Rad!
Thanks! If you like goth/industrial music, I think you'll enjoy a project I'll be submitting in the near future :)
I wonder why the piano-ish instruments sound distorted? Maybe clashing sounds?
I used distortion filters on both of them to make them sound similar to the way they do on the snes.
