Just discovered your channel via your feature video on ‘Van a pian’ Absolutely amazing- you’re a master craftsman / engineer Looking forward to viewing all your past and future videos. May ask you to come here in Australia and help me build a camper van 😁 I’m currently building a pop top camper for my 4x4 Ranger Bravo Diego 👍 Enrico
@@rickt7425 thank you so much for the support from the other side of the earth!🤗 So jealous you are going towards summer now. Good luck with your project!
Great video Diego thanks for sharing your upgrade. I am due to fit the exact same Bilstein B6 camper advanced struts to my van - so your video is very useful. The struts are currently on back order in the UK but I should have them in a couple of weeks. My van is the heavy chassis 6.36m length. I have weighed my van on a weigh bridge and fully loaded it is 1800kg on the front axle. My rear axle weight was exactly the same as the front. Like you I want to lift the front end and I have chosen Kilen 12181 motorhome springs. Just received them and they have 5.5 coils compared to the 4.5 to 4.75 coils on the original springs. I am hoping that the springs lift the front 40 to 50mm. I also have the same rear Bilstein dampers as you. I have the single leaf spring and VB air suspension on the back. Could you do a video describing how the van rides with the new setup? Does it reduce roll and sidewind movement? Is it comfortable over rough and smooth roads etc. Is the van any quieter etc. Look forward to a follow up video - well done doing the work yourself.
@@jimb7406 I'm happy that my video is helpful. didn’t know about those longer coils. That’s why I ordered 40mm lift blocks for the front suspension. Hope this is enough. Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll make a follow up video after I get to drive a little bit more of road and on the freeway. I have a small trip planned for next week. 👍🏻 And thank you so much for the support!
Hi sorry to reply so late. I showed the part numbers of shocks absorbers in the video. I don’t have it anywhere now. About the back look at the installation video, I think I showed that as well. If not write me again and I’ll try to find them again.
Thank you!! 🙏🏻 The tires are doing well, a bit noisy yes but not that much. A bit more at a slow speed on sharp corners or roundabouts. And I think I’m not going to get a lot of km on them, they are wearing down pretty fast.

Great video, how are the new tyres going, are they noisy or not to bad.
Thank you!! 🙏🏻

BFG All Terrain - quite and capable I’ve managed 75k km with them both on and offroad 👍
@@rickt7425 I was going to buy those but then I saw the Cooper at almost half the price so I tried.
@@diegosvan - you’re right. Off-roading setups here in Au can get expensive - tyres and playing with pressures is probably the most important part 👍
