I recently sold some of my long-term position and currently sitting on about 250k, do you think Nvidia is a good buy right now or I have I missed out on a crucial buy period, any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated.

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

I don't get the obsession with Cathie Wood. She had a tremendous year in 2020 but if that's when you hopped on her hype train you're probably down. Over the past 5 years, her main fund is up ~5% while the S & P is up over 80%. Don't get me wrong she's incredibly intelligent but she's playing a much different game than I am. I'd rather hear you or Palantir customers like Tyson Foods or Lennar Homes (Wait, it's the same guy) talk about the software than her opinion on the state of AI.
She has special access to PLTR management

According to Yahoo Finance, Ark Invest only owns 13 million shares of Palantir representing only 0.61% and a value (Yahoo Finance) of $395 million (YF).
For all her conviction she could have bought a lot more of the company, especially when the share price was in the dirt.

When I clicked on this video, I did not expect to see Andre Iguodala ... but its all good.
I don’t see how pltr competes with Microsoft. It is not a hardware operating system. I guess you could say it operates a bit like an ai friendly vm, on top of a hardware kernel provided by Microsoft and others.

I don’t think that’s accurate ChatGPT would only cost a couple thousand hundred dollars to develop today. Data centers handling massive AI projects might utilize hundreds or even thousands of the Blackwell B200 GPUs at a cost of $30,000-$40,000 per chip. Nvidia's own DGX SuperPOD can house up to 576 of these GPUs in a single system, according to Bard.
What do palantir actually do? Maybe I haven't researched enough but they don't have anything out there that I can try my hands on.

Palantir’s main business use case has really little to do with large language models. Clueless as hell. Palantir focuses on providing big data platforms for government entities. Yes it offers AI capabilities. But most of it involves data integration, ingestion, and analytics in a centralized cloud based location. It’s nothing special. I’ve used Databricks, I’ve used Palantir Foundry, I’ve used AWS, I’ve used Azure. It’s all the same. Palantir is nothing “special”. She’s speaking to her clueless retail investor base
