Why did TH-cam recommend this to me? A few minutes in, and you all admit that you didn't watch the opening ceremony? I did, granted I fast forwarded a lot of the slower bits since only noobs watch live. In context, this tableaux or whatever they called it obviously evoked an ancient Greek bacchanal or something. Turns out it was a specific reference to Dionysus, the Greek god of wine so I pretty much got the reference.
Now, in the following days it's suddenly a reference to "The Last Supper"? Talk about searching for something to be offended about. Yeesh.

@@tessabowers3496 I think that’s a fairly ridiculous simplification of religion, particularly one as open as Christianity in this context. Sure there are many religious people who fit into what you’re hinting at, but I think the gentlemen in this video aren’t as they are openly discussing sensitive topics and sharing their opinions with any and all audiences. My issue with the above comment is that he is implying it shouldn’t have showed up into is recommended AT ALL, indicating he would prefer to have not seen, hence the echo chamber. Where foreign or differing opinions don’t exist, I would argue for Christians, it is quite the contrary as most Christians actively question and continue to discuss the meanings of their holy text, hence bible study or bible discussions. I would not classify this as an echo chamber.
Hoping TH-cam doesn’t show stuff you’d be bothered by so you only see things you agree with is an echo chamber.
