It seems that through all of the memories he mentioned here, the only reason he even talks about those memories is because of his Psycho Power so he knew what M. Bison had done in the past even if he believes that he is him or not.
Bison itself says crystal clear he is not sure if he is the original or not even after getting most of his memories back. He also pretty much says he doesn't care if he is an imperfect clone or not, and if he ever comes across another "Bison" he'll just crush him and move on. If Capcom wanted to tell us he is 100% SF5 Bison they did a piss poor job.
@@mappybc6097The hint that he's the SF5 Bison is the damage done to his right arm/right side of his body that's now wrapped up in bandages. That side of his body was the part to crack when Ryu blasted him with the Power of Nothingness in SF5.

For years, there have been confusion about their exact dynamic, with some sources making it seem like Bison was Rose's former master and others saying the opposite. The two of them once training under the same master but choosing completely opposite paths (a'la Gouken and Akuma) makes the most sense imo
There was another story that said that Rose was actually the good side of Bison and he ripped it out so he could take on the evil side. I got this from Death Battle I think, Shao Kahn vs M. Bison. Could be wrong though, it’s been some time.
Looks like both Bison and Akuma are pretty much cut from the same cloth. They both killed their mentors as they became successors, and preservered with dark power. Also, he looks a LOT like Demitri in his youth.

There was in fact info about MBison being the sole survivor of a group of Psycho Power students, with only one other person. And it seems that other person was Rose.

there was mission after the Ed update, which had shadaloo cutscenes, you gotta finish that. I don't remember the name tho. I think it starts in Nayshall, named Psycho Power Experiment or something and then you gotta finish the missions that follow after. Sorry, I did it so quick I dont exactly recall everything

Just like how Kazuya thought of the Devil Gene as just a means to an end, Bison thought the same regarding Shadaloo.
To be honest that part where bison fight the psycho power memory machine is like when kazuya fought azazel and delivered the final blow on his chest
