This is certainly a bike I will consider as my next bike. The specs are great, the price is very good and it is a very nice looking bike. Well done, Decathlon.
I think Decathlon and Van Rysel have done brilliantly and if I was in the market for a bike like this then I’d certainly be seriously looking at this.. well done guys.. it’s even great looking ❤ 😊 I’ use a few Van Rysel vests and rain jacket and they have been excellent to.. Pete🚴🏻👍🚴♀️
But can you spec cockpit size or is it a case of having to buy the bike with the components specced by the manufacturer? I read somewhere of a tester getting a bike fit at Van Rysel HQ, but for the rest of us, I see no customization options.
@igorvmakarov it absolutely doesn't need to be. There's probably a 20-30% manufacturing difference which would result in maybe a $200-300 retail price difference. That's if they accepted the same profit at a lower margin.
the rcr-s are masterpieces with a flaw - the lack of sexyness......call me whatever you wanna call me, but if i drop 8k on a bike i`d want it to say "canyon"... or "orbea"... "trek"... "giant" if it really is a good deal.... maybe my mind changes within the next weeks (tdf)... and yes, this says nothing about quality, it is a very superficial point of view - but a point of view nontheless...
Guys will for God's sake pronounce Van Rysel correctly !!?? You really sound like amateurs. The name is not 'Van Reesel' .... but "Van Rysel" as in "rice, nice, lice, ice, .... !!!! Get it .... get it ?????
Sales bs,pogi rides a regular tubed colnago bike,no bike aside from aero is gonna make u a pro overnight, playing with tube shapes is all they can do now because carbon reached its limits, same with trek with that stupid seatstay,if any bike had an unfair advantage the Uci would not allow it
What do you think of the Van Rysel RCR Pro? Let us know below!
❤❤❤❤😮🤤🤤
There is nothing exciting about - stop with this ridiculous narrative - compare it head to head if you think it’s actually any good.
@@roadcc I love it!
@@dominicbrittAnd you are exactly the person to judge something like that? You can give us a professional opinion on why these are not good bikes
Always impressed by the higher end Decathlon gear. Not that I can stretch to an RCR😂

My dream bike what a beauty 😮❤
The paint work's really nice, was cool to see some of painting process
The bike won the danish championship just 2 days ago, arguably the hardest championship to win other than the belgian
french team with french rider on a french bike!
A friend of mine who's an ex pro bought one. Super pleased with it. Decathlon for the win.
Can it compete? I think that has already been proven.
I thin k they need to actually have stock to sell. Oh and make a true aware bike!
Such a good post !
But actually impossible to order one
No available 😰😰😰

well done 9k …..no point to spend 15k20k. It just proves that’s the other brands have a price collusion gentle agreement ….+6k for their Bs marketing.
I want to get one
So the frame is coming from Vietnam or is it produced in France, iam a little bit confused. Thank you
Frame is produced in France

@@purushrut made in Vietnam, assembled in France
@@purushrut No way.
Why hyping it? It's been out of stock since it came out. Not even one has come to my country's Decathlon stores 😂
I do not like that the interviewer says mhm and yep every 2 seconds while someone is talking
hard agree, mute the interviewers microphone in a v2 release
Couldn't agree more. Absolutely pathetic
Now I can’t un hear this 😂
leave Jamie alone
@@ChrisBoothHXH are you the leave britney alone guy?
Van Rysel sram force axs zipp 404 $6k
"Van Ray-sel" or "Van Ree-sel"? You say both.
Apologies! The Flemish way is "Van Ree-sel" which must have rubbed off! They didn't have any problem with our UK pronunciation though
It really seems to me that they cheated off of the Tarmac SL7's homework.
Can't blame them, I have the SL7 and it's no joke. I'm expecting Decathlon to pick up a few stages during the TDU.
@@tommyfreckmann6857 it really doesn't look like the SL7. The SL7 was also designed before the UCI changed their rules about tube dimensions.
bro maybe in your perspective, I'm a copy of tom cruise, cause we both got eyes and nose.
@@fukairen9601 🥱 don't be a total dumbass.
It’s no wonder they developed this bike in record time. And… 9k pound is not exactly very cheap. I’ll recommend a canyon aeroad instead.
Ah, Vietnam. Where you go when Chinese labor is too fair for your to have your product built there🥴
If you go to China (Taiwan) the resulting price is 15k. So...

Built in Vietnam and won a bunch of races right off the block. They're doing something right over there.
@JFomo that's not the problem. It's getting things made in a country with terrible minimum wage and very few worker rights.
So the price is metter? 😂
Exciting? Hardly. A perfectly fine and capable machine? Sure. No Froth on this thing though.
