I have a 2018 base model i bought new. This morning i just turned 140k miles on my way to work. Only problem I've had was a front wheel bearing on passenger side. Still running good and i hope to get many more miles out of it.

Did it squeek when you turned or what were the symptoms? My base model 17 driver side currently has a squeek at 84k

Glad you mentioned the star link system it's absolutely the worst thing about the Impreza in the years I've driven it, complete crap it will disconnect randomly while using Android auto, and it may start playing your songs automatically when you get in the car, there's more it's just the absolute most frustrating thing about the Impreza

good deal, if this model was a person getting a check up result from the doctor i wouldn't be worried.

2017 limited sole owner, 130k, only problems were wheel bearings.

Blower motor buzz was fixed with a strong kick. Bought the car brand new in feb of 2017. The infotainmenf screen is terrible. Mechanically' the car is perfect

2018 Impreza limited at 90,000 miles. Purchased CPO with 40,000 miles. Car right now at dealership shop: Timing chain cover leaking oil-will be re-sealed; CVT replacement due to potential problems from "sealed for lifetime", no maintenance policy in US market factory recommendations ($7,000 to $8,000 to replace); A/C fan blower replacement (around 43k miles); Rear passenger safety belt entire system replacement; Rear tail light wiring and light box replacement. Repairs fortunately covered under extended warranty. On the positive side: real comfortable seats and cabin for long road trips and decent Harman Kardon sound system. If it wasn't for the issues mentioned above - this Impreza would be a good car. I wonder if comparable model Toyota and Honda modern cars are more or less reliable today than the Impreza? Also own a 2020 BRZ tS which is a true pleasure on the canyon and rural roads.

18 Impreza base hatch. Already had the driver strut bearing warrantied out at around 20k last year. At about 48k now and may need to replace again xP
That and getting a little noise on the blower motor maybe. 🤔

I bought mine new 3, almost 4 years ago, and the only real issue I've ever had with it is the infotainment screen, the lack of power, and the eyesight crash system

I had the squealing fan issue in my 2017, and had the fan replaced under warranty.

Do you have hatchback or sedan version ? I want to get 17' hatchback but hesitate a little between impreza and WRX. The only thing that hold me back to buy WRX is their engine-problems..

Haven't had any of these issues so far in our 2019 and we drive winding mountain roads almost daily. However, we just threw a code P0073 (ambient air temperature sensor circuit high) and while looking for the sensor I dicovered a plastic bag had covered the lower 1/5 of the radiator. Could these events be related? I tried to clear the code, but the CEL came back on twice.
Love the video btw, will personally inspect tie rods and ball joints with next set of tires.

I believe that our 2018 Impreza has that blower motor problem. The noise is annoying.

I have a 2020 Impreza hatchback Sport. I’m at 26K miles and my AC makes a clicking noise and loses power after being on for a few minutes until it completely stops. I think it’s the blower fan but not 100% sure
