    I think if you drilled holes on the inside of the edge you could’ve spot welded them and have as much lip on the lightning bolt

    I dig the lighting bolts on the tank! You could save a lot of time grinding if you drill through the lighting bolt and plug weld it.Hit me up if you ever want help I live a few houses away from you and have a big shop with all the tools you could ever need

    I love the design of the bike and tank! I had one thought though for if you decide to do raised tank emblems again. I was thinking if you would have radiused the lightning bolts to fit the tank, then instead of tacking the outside, drill a small hole in the center of the bolt at tip and tail. Then rosette weld the holes and grind flat. May save heaps of time on cleaning all the tacks around the outside of the bolt. Came out amazing though, just thought you may use this idea again.
