Sean looks adorable as always ❤ and so great for him to describe himself as 'thankful '. They collectively been through so much and I personally know how much Sean has struggled with the passing of Layne and others around him. 💙
I agree, I've always thought Sean was rad (being a drummer myself, he's always been an influence) however it was very disheartening when I went and saw them a while back, waited outside the venue for a while, and here he came out back and wouldn't even ACKNOWLEDGE Any of us! ( AND it was in Seattle, only a group of maybe 15 people out back waiting) But still love the guy!
@@Jmilillo trust me I get it, but when playing in Seattle I would figure the least he can do is give just a little smidgen of attention to the 15 fans or less that have been waiting for him outside for the past hour at least after the show
I'm glad Sean Kinney has over time gotten back to being able to have some fun these past couple years. Back then when AIC first got back together he still seemed dead inside and like a robot.
Just listened to Dirt all the way through, it’s been a minute, but man the memories came flooding back. The harmonies, melodies, riffs, and of course Layne’s voice. These guys, along with the Beatles, are and will always be my 2 favorite band. They are the musicians bands.
I love that Sean can joke around and treat everything as something to laugh at but understands when to take it down a notch. I had the privilege of meeting the man myself and was unfortunately too nervous for my own good. He picked up on that and joked around saying the band will spend the night at my house and to make sure there’s an available couch. It made talking to the band much easier. This is one guy I really recommend anyone meet
Sean Kinneys drums were unmistakable. The way he played with tons of snaredrum, it was very distinctive in every alice in chains song. He was a great drummer, still is. Very great funny guy

I love Jerry and Sean and Mike Star Mike Inez and Layne Staley RIP Layne and Mike Star. Awesome interview!! Thank you for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️ William Duvall is awesome too!

I watched the unplugged version of Down in a Hole and the live version of Love Hate Love tonight with my 15 year old son. ❤️❤️ *I've seen both videos a hundred times each but I needed my son to hear, see, and feel those two songs.
The whole part with Sean talking about Ned made me laugh out loud. It takes a lot to actually make me laugh out loud, a deep belly laugh, but Sean Kinney did it. Thank you, Sean, from one drummer to another.

Alice In Chains deserve to already be on the rock in roll hall of fame
*The "rock n roll hall of fame" doesn't deserve Alice in Chains.*
There, I fixed it.
Absolutely
And we need a documentary. The way they started the band. It needs to be documented. Genuine.
ABSOLUTELY!
The fact that the Foo Figthers are in Rock and Roll hall of fame and Alice in chains not is beyond me.
I feel like Sean Kinney is the underrated backbone of Alice that doesn't get to talk enough.
A beast of a drummer that leaves space between drumming.

When Jerry describes himself in one word, he just became the most rock n roll person still doing it.
