I'm not sure why Rastar has suddenly decided to produce more cars at 1:16 scale. For me, 1:14 is a better option and if you already have a collection of cars at this scale, the 1:16 cars don't match. Also, using 4x AA batteries instead of the 5 that are in the 1:14 scale cars is a disadvantage in terms of performance and run time. I suppose it is just an attempt at cost saving. The problem with this is that rivals are already producing cars with proportional controls close to the price of the Rastar models. At the moment, the only 1:16 scale car that has tempted me is the Hummer EV and there are new models coming at 1:14 scale that have opening doors so these are altogether more appealing.
@BlackSeaRC Agree with everything you have said here. They should have stuck to 1:14, especially for nice models like this that would have looked better in that size and could have done with that 1:14 performance.
@@superkaf At least with the Hummer EV, it is quite a big car in real life so at 1:16 scale it matches the 1:14 scale cars in my collection. Plus, it has opening doors, 4WD, 4WS and takes 5 AA batteries. I was looking at the new Countach model at 1:16 scale but I haven't been tempted yet as I know there are some great 1:14 scale models coming soon.
@BlackSeaRC Yes for the bigger ones in real life, the smaller scale is not so bad. But hopefully Rastar bring out some good 1:14 scale ones and bring back features such as opening doors etc. If not, do recommend me some alternative brands 😉

What a beast of a car
It can drift?
Nope, it can't.
Sure not if not on ice
@@ЕгорЧеркасов-г3р yes ice would be good to try it on.
