    I really like the color palette - black combined with these earthy, warm, terracotta tones. And the architecture, of course, looks phenomenal with arches and circular windows/skylights.

    Those curtains give such a soft dreamy feel - lovely. I liked so much of it, but I wish you moved the camera more, to get a better sense of it. Stationary shots are like photos - limited in perception. I'd love this house to be covered by someone else, who does an actual walk-through. I'd love to feel like I've visited this house! The curved shapes and wall of sliding doors are things I love.

    Obviously, you're trying to set yourselves apart with gorgeous camera work and the peacefulness of stationary shots, however as someone who loves architecture and interior design, I want to appreciate the house more than artistic filmography. You have access to some of the best houses in Australia, so could you PLEASE do a casual walk-through at the end, after all the arty shots!

    • @Alby911
      @Alby911 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on how much the owners want to reveal though. A room full of expensive art work may not be something you would want to openly display for example.

    • @Alby911
      @Alby911 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lucaspinelli9801 - It's really not that simple to equate, unless you know precisely the location and size of land. And you have to factor in what materials are used, as well as how much the builders and architects charge.

  • @Eyoutube99
    @Eyoutube99 ปีที่แล้ว +62

    The problem is that the narration is on architecture but the filming is primarily interior design.

    • @W4LT3Rego
      @W4LT3Rego ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do you live inside or outside your house? Also, looking at the lay of the land, getting good shots of the house at an appropriate height seems much easier said than done. There's nothing wrong with the filming at all.

    • @Eyoutube99
      @Eyoutube99 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@W4LT3Rego re read the comment. The filming is quite lovely but it comes off as fluff because of the architectural explanations within the video itself. I always look forward to their videos but only a small percentage of them show enough of the actual structure. It’s true that the owner or intimate guests experiences the home from the inside but entering the home and pulling back on shots so the viewer can actually see the entire space or at least a human scale perspective is very important. Go back and look again you may start to see what I mentioned earlier. Drone shots are extremely easy to get and pulling back and showing transition from space to space in a structure can communicate an incredible amount. They zoom in so much that it feels like marketing for particular products within the house but without information on those products? I’m glad that you enjoy the videos, but I am speaking from a more critical point of view. The reason I wrote the comment was so the authors can potentially re evaluate and add a more information to architecture enthusiasts.

    • @W4LT3Rego
      @W4LT3Rego ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Eyoutube99 I misinterpreted the message of your comment as it came off a bit brief for what you were trying to say - which you just did more broadly and also more clearly. Personally I wouldn't really enjoy drone shots but it would definitely add to the viewing experience. I understood what you meant in the first place, though. Certain shots the architects talk about "concrete constructions" whilst we're looking at a wooden wall, I guess it really depends on what TLP is trying to bring to us.

    • @abrahamsantana6524
      @abrahamsantana6524 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. In most of their videos, its just too much zoom in on products, detail of some brick wall, and I love the film, but I think they are missing the architectural space, and some services areas which I would love to see

  • @Eyoutube99
    @Eyoutube99 ปีที่แล้ว +62

    Please start to film more of the home / project. Shades blowing in the wind are nice but the scope is constantly missed in these videos. Don’t try to be so artful that you miss the architectural point.

    • @LilacDaisy2
      @LilacDaisy2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes, they're addicted to the tripod, so their videos are more like a magazine spread than a video. I think their focus is on artistically beautiful shots instead of showing the artistic beauty of the house, as a home that people live in. If they just ended their arty video with a non-arty walk-through, so we get a sense of the layout and what it's like to live there.
      That external walkway looked wonderful, and I thought, "What's it like to walk along that, with the curve beside you" - but the one stationary shot, from beside it, is all we got. Always disappointed with their videos, though the houses themselves are GREAT.

    Still very little idea of what the exterior looks like. Two shots on repeat. Nothing wider that gives it perspective or context within its surroundings. Mostly interior shots focused on the clients art. Not the best video in general. Gives me the idea that the house is actually pretty unappealing the further you get from it.

    Shopping centre, rat’s maze, prison? Claustrophobic. Fails entirely to integrate with the setting or to offer the occupants the fullest appreciation of the amazing natural environment. An abomination.

    An interesting house but the lighting for this video was dismal at best. You need a lightening specialist to accompany the videographer..
